The Morning After

Good Morning and Happy New Year, Kitties!

I not only survived the Human ball-watching party, I was a very brave and social boy! I only spent about five minutes UTB before I wandered out amongst the guests (invaders). As long as they abided by the three commandments (Don't look at me, Don't talk to me, and for Bast's sake, Don't touch me), we all got along just fine. I explored the Forest of Lower Limbs, sniffed courteously at the occasional proffered hand, and sometimes settled in comfortably (just out of reach, of course) for extended periods of observing the Humans at play.

All in all, it was quite a successful evening, despite an alcohol-fueled "discussion" amongst a few of the invaders, ha ha ha! That was pretty entertaining! All hiss and no bitey, though if they'd had fur, a little might have flown!

Hope Everykitty and Human has a warm & cozy day!

  2. Spitty, you are a man cat among man cats! A graceful and indulgent host. To allow them to be just out of reach. They can look at you? I will meet you UTB, baby!

  3. Good for you, Spitty! I will never understand why cats don't like parties! Do you have no concept of all the ear scratches, compliments, not to mention tasty morsels of dropped human food one can score at these gatherings? Ah, well - one of life's mysteries. More for the dogs that way, though, so I won't worry.

    Happy New Year!

  5. Man, at least you had something to see last night. All I got to see was the Woman sitting here on her asterisk, staring at the computer when she wasn't scribbling all over some papers with a red pen.

    HAPPY NEW YEAR!

  6. You mean you ventured out amongst the primates? Are you sure they deserved your presence?

  7. Well, Spitty, you were better than us. Zoey hid in her room and hissed when anyone came near her (but that's nothing new) and me and Ernie spent most of the night sleeping upstairs on the bed...at least we weren't under it!! Close to midnight, I finally came out and made an appearance, which made everyone happy. I even let the little peoples pet me!! I scored some big points for

    that!

We wish all of you a very Happy New Year!!Wally

  8. Happy New Year Spitty and Servunt!

You were quite the Benevolent Host, sir. We find watching Humans in their cups to be rather entertaining. As long as they remember their Place and the Three Rules. Except The Baby...she's sorta a hussy.

  17. Wow, Spitty, you are quite the party boy. We would have never been that brave. We see a stranger and we are out of that place. One of two of us will stick around but the rest of us are long gone. A very Happy New Year to you. Take care.

Leave me a meow or a hiss; I don't mind a hiss or two. . . or even a bitey.
