The Ol' Schnozzola Tells Me:

Time to wash the bedspread, Human!

PEEESS:  Please join me in weeping for the ignominious use to which MY place mat has been put:
Yes, Kitties, the Human took it to her office and spread it atop an ugly little file cabinet. She said it was too much trouble to keep washing it for me! As if!  Well, as you can see from the main post today, she doesn't care for doing laundry.

I think your mom and my mom have something in common. However, she shouldn't take your mat to her office. That's just unheard of.

She should at LEAST have given you the option of gifting it to one of the loverly Ladies of Autumn, because the colors would go so well with their furs.

I guess that means you can scatter your meal where ever you want now!

My mom lets me have a plastic place mat. But I am pretty neat. Jack was messy, like Cookie Monster. Mom does the bed laundry better since I peed on there twice. I think I am feeling better now. I am getting all back to normal.

Oh, Spitty, we're so sorry about your mat. Our mom's first thought was that it looked terrific there, with the flowers. Typical human. You know they just don't understand us at all.

I think she actually mean she misses you at work. :)

Apparently your human is hinting that she doesn't really WANT you by first taking your blanket and now your placemat. I think you'll be welcome here if you promise NEVER to root for those Mutts over in Flushing.

OMC, Spitty, that is just SO rude! That is YOUR mat and she STOLE it!

The best part about laundry is sleeping on it when it's warm. Other than that, we think it's silly to remove our furs and smells.

OH dear Spitty
We advocate taking back the mat for you own purposes! (we think it does look very nice what your human did with it though)

Oh no how could your human take your place mat to the office? But looks like the mat is giving her office a cheerful color. Maybe you let her have it and you can just get a new one :-)

Spitty, sorry I have not been by in awhile. Hope all is well. Sending purrs!

The placemat does add an element of glamour to the file cabinet!

We think your human misses you while she is away at work and is subconsciously decorating her office with reminders of you. Since it might be inappropriate to cover her office walls and desk with photos and murals of you, decorating her office with your place mat is the next best thing. You probably should take a quick inventory of your stuff before she starts trying to justify why she needs your kitty cube, orange mousie, or blankie at work.

Your human really has some nerve taking your mat for her own use just because she is lazy and doesn't want to do laundry. The things you hafta put up with! Sheesh!

She can have the old one, but she have to get a new one for you !!!
If she want to borrow your mat , she must pay you lots of treats !!!!

WE think you should be consulted at least with regards to the mat, it is yours after all.

Emma does the sniffing of sheets and then tells mama it's ready for washing.
