Cousin Aggie in My Tent

A few short weeks ago, my Human purchased this enchanting tent for me at PetSmart. It is made of a beautiful green suede-y fabric, has an enticing dangly-toy and a soft-as-soft-can-be matching green plaid pillow. It is, in fact, the Cadillac of kitteh tents!
So why, you may ask yourselves, is it not King Spitty's little face you see peering out from inside the cozy tent?
King Spitty will not leave you in suspense, my furriends. The sad troof is, King Spitty did not like or trust this Cadillac of tents. It was too green, too suede-y, too soft and waaaaaaay too cozy.
It has recently been removed to Casa Aggie and Wally. Last weekend, Aggie's dad snapped this picture as proof positive that Aggie, at least, has succumbed to the Siren Song of that soft plaid pillow. Wally has not yet been sighted enjoying a snooze inside. Purrsunally, I think Aggie probably wants it all for herself.

  5. Aggie looks very pretty and very comfortable in there. Bet that cost a pretty penny. I'm gonna see if Pop will get me one even tho he won't buy me new beds since I ignored that hunnert dollar wicker Atmosphere Bed that I begged him for. It's a long store. Anyway, Pop will have to see if they do mail order since the nearest PetSmart is in Paramoose which is a half hour drive and we don't have wheels.

  7. Clearly you need a throne so that you may watch over your kingdom from all angles. Maybe we need to work on that. ; )

  13. Seriously, Spitty? My mom wishes she could fit in a little tent like that. She says it looks divine.

Fat chance of that ever happening. Ha ha ha ha fat chance, get it??

Anyway, you're right about that whole new bed business. I'm going to have to get on her about that!

  16. Some kitties like little spaces like that more than others. Buddah would like that but I don't think I would. There's no where to run if a guy needs to!

  17. We would have looked suspiciously at it too Spitty. Zolie too. She thought her Heated Hidey Hut was a trap for sure even though it had two openings but she succumbed within 2 days to the glorious heat it offered.
Seems like women hear the call of those things because we man cats are too smart to be so easily lured.

  18. Hmmm. Me would probably like it, but not green. Me does not like green. Anything mommy has bought me that is green, me won't play with.
Me will put it on my shopping list.

  20. Well, King Spitty, perhaps you thought it clashed with your gorgeous eyes? Perhaps you felt, and we would agree with this feeling, that you are simply too gorgeous to hide in a bushel, or tent! Whatever your reason, it cannot be argued with, because, well because YOU are the king! Your word is law, right?
How magnanomous of you to pass it on to other kitties who don't have such kingly thoughts in their pretty little heads.
Star sends a buddy bump and an ear nuzzle for how sweet you are.

  21. Spitty I hate to tell ya, you remind me of my doggie (yes doggie!) brother Dakota. Mom buys him all kinds of beds that he refuses to use! Instead, he sleeps on the hard floor (he LIKES it!)
I on the other paw, have taken over ALL of his beds!
this is one sharp looking tent, it is Mom's favorite color!

  23. Giving this away was a good decision, King Spitty. A ruler must stay visible to his subjects.

  24. Aggie seems to have a built up a pretty high tolerance for green, suediness, softness, and coziness. We're glad she is enjoying your kitteh tent. Mom mom is thoroughly impressed that your human finds such tasteful and elegant kitty equipment. We also have a similar kitty tent, but it is leopard print...ours is the flame paint job emblazoned monster truck of kitteh tents.
