Walkies

This is an exceedingly dull photo, it's even blurry for Cod's sake, but the Human is tired of using so many pictures of me lying around all sleepy and adorable, even though that is what I do best.
The problem is that I, like nearly every other self-respecting feline, am a "difficult" subject. As soon as the flashy box appears, I either dart UTB, or refuse to look at the camera, or lead the Human on a merry chase throughout the apartment, all the while ducking behind every piece of furniture that presents itself. It's a frustrating and futile pursuit for her, and enjoyable exercise for me--a real Win-Win!
Thus, she often defaults to drowsy shots, which *are* adorable if monotonous. Today's offering met several important criteria: I am identifiable, I am awake, I am moving, I am not in the pink beddy, my tailio is floofy.
Good enough.

Spitty, it's just called soft-focus. Very flattering, very regal...

No TRUE celebrity likes to be photographed when they are not properly posing. Just saying.

Yar! We frustrate Mommy ALL the time by refusing to look at the camera. How would she like to look at the dang camera and have that blasted burst of light blind you for that few seconds?

I frustrate mommy even when she has a working camera by immediately getting up and running to her as soon as she gets down on my level to take a picture. I HAVE to go to her. My brother took those good ones because he isn't mommy and so shen he laid on his stomach and chest to take those pictures..I didn't feel the need to come over and get pets, kisses and lovins.

You look wonderful with that tail floof. VERY Kingly. xoxox

Yes, we cats have such fun making life difficult for our so-called photographer peeps. I especially like to get up and approach her when she calls me to 'look' at the camera. All she gets is a close-up of my nose or, if I move quickly enough... the back of my head. Hehehe...

Spitty, you do have a very regal walk. I can almost see the crown on your head!

I try to keep camera with me all the time not to miss a good shot. But when I forget to have it with me....this is when my boys do something really cute! Very frustrating, indeed. You look cute even if you are blurry :-)

You got some place to be Spitty?

Very artsy looking, Spitty. Nothing wrong with some action shots, pal!

If our moms had a dime for every blurry shot, we'd all be millionaires!

P.S. Caroline got all fainty with the glimpse of your floofy tail. *Now* she says she would have been quiet in the package!

And I would add the rug on which you are perambulating is de-lish! Kudos for such good taste!

Love those criteria! Love those sleepy pictures too, but it's nice to see that you have and can use your great legs, MOL

The one other thing is that dark or black kitties (even ones with white on them like us) are hard to photograph. Mom says all the time Ping is a dream to photograph (plus Get this Spitty he likes it) because he glows with his orange and white furrs. *whatever*

Embrace the blurry of movement with your sleek black fur it looks like a purring engine when in blur.

Spitty, the lady with the yellow hair posted blurry pictures of me playing today because she says she's tired of posting pictures of me laying around. Hey, that's what I like to do, for cod's sake!

We do the same things to our mom, who never learns! Then she complains when everything's a blurr. So you think she'd use a real camera. Oh no! She must use her PHONE! {{eye roll}}

Not many pictures of me moving either. I run when I HEAR that flashy box getting turned on. BTW, the other day you ran a shot of you under the table where you weren't sleeping.
