Awards, The Sequel

Kitties, Today I am catching up with two more awardies. The "Thinking of You" award is from my friends Star & Leo and the "Seven Things" is from my sweet Nellie, the Cat from Hell.

I am supposed to list Things I Think About and Things About Me. Since I often Think About Me, I will combine the lists into one:

1.  Since being tutored last August, I have learned the Joys of Food, Glorious Food. Bring it on, and plenty of it. In fact, I am sending the Human to PetSmart tomorrow. She has to go there more often than she used to.

2.  My tutoring has not dimmed my enthusiasm and ardor for the LadyCats.

3.  My Human should provide The Brushies on demand, not when she happens to feel like it.

4.  I think the Human should help me visit all my furiends every day, not when she happens to feel like it.

5.  I dream about my fev-vers and believe the Human should play fev-vers with me whenever I want, not when she happens to feel like it.

6.  I want a three-point tunnel like Savannah has. Is that too much to ask?

7.  This evening the Human discovered my secret sleeping spot:
Lately she thought this shelf of folded pants was ridiculously messy (even by her lax standards), but she did not realize the true reason until tonight when I did not awaken from my comfortable nappy until it was too late, and she caught me jumping down.
*     *     *     *     *     *     *
I have waited so long to post about these that I fear everykitty has gotten them already. If perchance you have not, feel free to take one or both and tell us all your interesting secrets! I for one am longing to hear them.

  1. Congratulations on your awards!! I'm not sure, but I think you have a teeny tiny issue with your mommy doing things when she happens to think about it.. or is that my imagination? Yeah, it must be my imagination... MOL
Love your secret nappy spot! Is that where you hide with all the lady cats then?

  6. Spitty, I LOVE that you were burrowing in the folded pants. (well, NOT so folded NOW are they?!) because I like to open the little cabinet where Mom has her T shirts and coincidentally, her folded pants, and burrow in them and further, toss them out onto the floor. I like to do this while she is sleeping so she can't catch me and there is a huge pile (that I have been reveling in) on the floor to greet her! Come on over! XXXOOO

  7. Congrats on more awards at your sea and pfft even if the human knows your secret spot, there is nothing she can do to stop you!

  12. Conga Rats on the awards, Spit! Too bad the Mom found your hidey hole. It's is much fun to sleep where they can't find you and listen to them yell all day for you. MOL MOL MOL!!!

  13. Grabbing a shelf nap is the best. It's so good that you wonder why humans find this wrong.

Humans. WRONG FOR CATS. WRONG FOR AMERICA.

Oh wait. We're done with all that.

  14. haha!
Glogirly suffers from that "when she happens to feel like it" syndrome.
    Congratz on the award!

  15. Spitty dear, you have guessed..... wrong. MOL If Star hadn't been the sleeping one in that picture, Leo would never have been able to get that close. But, as it was a long time ago, he was smaller, (and braver) so it is hard to tell them apart. If they were that close now, you'd be able to tell immediately because he's easily twice as long as she is!

Star says: Ok, I wont be mad that you can't tell me from that barbarian.. IF you come over and comfort me by licking my pretty brow.. Maybe we can find some secret clothing stash here that we can lay on and shove around too!

  16. Buddy, we really have to bring the humans into line!!! ConCats on your well deserved awards :)

  17. Mommy keeps all the clothes and towels and fun stuff in the walk in cabinet which we are NOT allowed in. And we've yet to figure out how to slide open that door.
    Congratulations on your awards!

  18. We gather from the list of thoughts that you have a horribly inept Human. Bummer.

  19. Spitty, Sassy here. I really agree with you on #3 and #4. Mommie should be on call 24/7 for us. I mean what does she think, that its her life!?!

    ReplyDelete
  20. Oh, yes. We must nip (hee) in the bud (hee) this tendency of the humans to do things that are important to us "only when they feel like it."

The perfect napping spot! Hidden away, far away from potential predators and very comfy and cozy.
    Excellent.

  22. Yours TOO? This "when she feels like it" is getting EPIDEMIC fur sure. Oh and we love the messy pants. Purrsonally, we like to knock a pile of sweaters off the shelf at least once a month to keep her on her toes.

  23. TELL it, brother! What's up with the 'when we feel like it'. I may not always feel like cuddling, but I do!

  26. Congratulations on your awards, Spitty! I hope your human read your list very carefully and take action :-)

  27. Spitty, congrats on your awards. We, too, have been coveting a three-way tunnel since we saw it on Savannah's blog.

    ReplyDelete
  28. I could've written that list, especially the part about the feathers and the 3-way tunnel and the brushies.

    ReplyDelete
  29. what AREN'T you enthusiastic and ardor-ous about, King Spitty? you luvs Lady Cats, fev'vers, foods, brushies...you would think your human would be so head over heels with your regal Joie de Vivre, that she would build a three point tunnel in your secret sleeping spot. I fink you should settle fur nuffing less.

Leave me a meow or a hiss; I don't mind a hiss or two. . . or even a bitey.
