The Princess King and the Pea

So while the Human went out to a fancy restaurant
and consumed an adult beverage before eleven o'clock
in the freaking morning, I was left here to suffer all by
myself with no comfy place to nap and no noms at all.
Well, maybe there were a few of my crunchies, and
some tuna & salmon wet food . . . oh, and a water bowl,
and a tiny saucer of half and half. But that was all, I swear.
I could have starved.

  1. OMC, Spitty. This has gone on way too far for way too long. You look like half the cat I know!

  2. My blood boils at the thought of you stuck there with enough food for two days and only two or three beds upon which to rest for a whole day by yourself. The nerve of your human to do that to you.

  3. She's completely ruthless, I tell you! We're glad to see you made it, though. Whew, close call.

  4. That's what I call cruelty! BTW, my human is not much better - I wanted her to bring you something special of mine on her trip up your way. But did she remember to brush me and gather some of my fur for you? NO! I did NOT get brushed and you did not get your gift. She deserves to be soundly rebuked.

  7. How did you survive, Spitman? Maybe you should write a primer in case TW ever dares to leave me in such squalid conditions.

  15. Spitty, you are nothing if not resiliant; many others would be wilted in the conditions. Stay strong.

  22. I agree, Spitty . Maybe you could call the pizza-guy? The salmon-shrimps pizza is really not bad and with the parts you dislike you can make a fabulous mess :o)

  26. Ah, but I know where your human was Spitty. She deserves a break too you know. And don't listen to what Savannah has to say. She had a wonderful time lying in her living room sun puddle and snoozing on the coach with but a few hisses and growls when Sage came around. Me thinks thou dost protest too much!!

  27. Life is treating you so harshly. That bed looks so uncomfortable that you can barely sleep on it. As for the food deprivation, I can see the weight dropping of you.

  33. A saucer of half 'n half. That sounds pretty decadent. Guess, you could use that after the Quest to rebuild your strength. Did you get a new beddy? It's not pink. Or do you have more than one? Leave me a meow or a hiss; I don't mind a hiss or two. . . or even a bitey.
