Wake Me When Its Over

When what's over, you ask?

  Breaking Bad
  The World Cup biter stories
 The Giants' pitching woes
 The Fourth of July
The Human's little jaunt out of town
 SF's heat wave
Roadwork of any sort within 5 miles of my home
 Politics in any form

Softie Sunday

I have decided that (once a week or so) I am going to embrace my inner Squishy-Softie side because there's nuffing this ManCat loves more than having his widdle heady caressed by the nice Lady who lives here.

♫ ♫ Up on the Roooo-ooof

It was a pretty day here so I disported myself on the roof and took a gander. Too bad the Human missed it--still binge-watching Breaking Bad--but she's on the last episode of Season 4. Only one more season to go and then maybe she'll do my bidding again!

In the Pink

The Human was out quite a lot yesterday, but stayed home with me today so I don't have too much to complain about, which is kind of a shame because complaining is just about my best thing
I hope all you kitties are looking forward to a fine weekend with your attentive servants.

Friends, I Need Your Help

I am conflicted. I am filled with angst. I am fraught with disquiet

Or something.

On the one hand, I have an image to maintain. On the other: Meltingly pleasurable pettings.

You must see my difficulty. If only, if only, if only she didn't take pictures of such humiliating moments.

Tuckered Out

So, Kitties, I enjoyed my World Domination Day activities, but it was chilly up there in the Arctic (and no, William, it is *not* my fault the icecap is melting; well, I don't think so, anyway, though I am pretty darn sizzling hot, if I do say so myself, and I do). I am napping Wordless Wednesday away today, perhaps not wordlessly enough, come to think of it.
Shhhhhh, now.

Cat World Domination Day

Um, Sorry King P. The Human was too l-a-z-y to make a new graphic for me (what a surprise, eh?) and I feel at this point in our relationship there is sufficient trust that you understand I pose no threat to Finland(N). Right. 'Cause, you know, I wouldn't want to start an International Incident of any sort.

Tuesday Trivia

Yes, I think they *did* close off Lombard to make up to me for tearing up our street these last two weeks. Thanks, Cat on My Head, for figuring that out for me!

Star and Katie? Thanks, sweet girls, you made this ManCat's day XOXO

Fargo's a TV series now? Shoot, now the Human will NEVER pay any attention to me! Tonk's Tail . . . You shoulda kept that to yourself. Yo.

Thanks for all the good suggestions about how to interfere with too many Breaking Bad episodes. I will try the tailio swishes tonight.

I'm tired of the Human working Summer Session. I am going to try gluing the front door shut. That'll work, right?

I am trying my bestest to get her back on track with visiting, but she's a hard case these days. It's Walter White's fault.

No cars on Lombard? No problem!

So starting this weekend, the City has put a temporary ban on cars on Lombard Street from noon to 6 p.m., for at least the next three weekends. This works out excellently well for me, as that time coincides nicely with my main nap of the day. I will enjoy a nice change of venue for my afternoon nappy now that all those cars have been banished!

Making Mad Over Breaking Bad

Yo. The Human's in Summer School Mode, so you'd think she'd have more time for the kitty, yo? And she might, if she weren't mainlining Breaking Bad episodes like they were the purest blue ice on the street. But as it is, she's sittin' all glassy-eyed in front of the computer, clicking Next Episode just like she didn't even have a kitty to serve. Yo.

A Place for Everything &
Everything in Its Place

She thinks she's soooooo smart to put
these little quilts over her "good" chairs,
as if I can't burrow in whenever I feel like it.
The Little Old Saturn is back in its little house
after ten miserable, lonely days on the cold, uncaring streets.

Secret Agent ManCat Gets His Mojo Back

Beware of pretty faces that you find
A pretty face can hide an evil mind
Oh, be careful what you say
Or you'll give yourself away
Odds are you won't live to see tomorrow

Tough Guy Tuesday

Well, the Human's need to go to the movies was apparently soooooooo much more impawtant than helping me post yesterday, and, of course, allowed that disgraceful photo from Caturday night to remain on display for an extra day, as my ManCatliness gradually ebbs away.
Here, I ponder my future as a "nice kitty", and furiends, it does not look good to me. I want my mojo back. I was Born to Be Bad.

                        Vandalism?

or just a little harmless Pupfitti?
These have appeared in the neighborhood
of the Human's school, and this one
was stenciled on the side of the school building
sometime in the deep dark of Wednesday night.

        Boring Human Rant

So the City (hisssssssss) has torn up our block (left). Even driveways, which should be sacred, have not been spared. This is Outrage, Day 3. She was luckier today and found a decent street space only two blocks away after only 10 minutes of searching. Yesterday was m-u-c-h worser. We don't think our elderly blue Saturn will see the inside of its little house (right) till the middle of next week. The Human is an angry old lady, especially since the streets around her work are all blocked off for the installation of a traffic signal. We don't even know why our own street looks like this. Phfft.

I Am Just Purrfect the Way I Am!

The Human thought this was a pretty fancy picture of me, and I kind of thought so too, but then she went and 'shopped out the little eye spot that I think makes me interesting
Really, how dare she? I suppose next thing we know, fashion magazines will be 'shopping out all kinds of stoopy Human flaws!
Wait...what? Oh, well, then. See?

Deep Thoughts with Spitty the Kitty

If we learned to open cans by ourselves, would the Humans still be of any use to us?
They might be, if we needed them to do the dishes and stuff.

Looky, Looky! I Gotted a Present!

A Happy Surprise!
OMC! Imagine my delight to receive such an unexpected wonder from Finland(N)--just for me!! Well, okay, I guess the Human can read it too. Maybe she'll learn something? Ya think? Like good students, we will write a book report when we have read it!
The Gracious King Punapippuri and his Äiti have outdone themselves. Purrrrrrrrrrrrrs and Thanks to my favorite Finnish furiends!

I'm Glad to Have You Home More and All

But I don't want to play Samson & Delilah,
unless *I* can be Delilah.*

*Pls. note my earsies have been ruthlessly excised.

Stoopy Human Tricks

Can you believe how crazy the Stoopy Humans are? Yeah, well, me neither, Pal.

A friend of the Human's, not as old as the Human, but still old enough to know better (you'd think), actually jumped off a ferry into San Francisco Bay this morning and swam the 1.5 miles from Alcatraz to the shore.

Now, since neither she nor any of the other 900 Stoopy Humans with her were actually imprisoned on that island, you'd think they might've just taken the ferry back. But nooooooooooo -- they swam!

And look! There are some of them now, rounding the bend into the cove near Aquatic Park, teeth chattering, eyes burning, taking on seawater like the Titanic.

The Human's friend came in 4th for her age bracket and the Human thought she looked really Bad@ss in her wetsuit and all. Go figure.

Me, I think they've all lost their minds.

Yoo-Hoo?

Here I am! Lonely, abandoned, neglected, unpetted, unloved, unfed, uncomforted, brutally cut off from all my furiends. Well, okay, maybe not quite all of those things. But enough of them to be an outrage!
Graduation is tonight, and maybe I will be allowed to post tomorrow. I don't really trust her anymore, though.

                          Overcuddled

So the Human made good on her promise to stay home with me today, but now I am feeling overcuddled and need a little personal space and me-time. I'll play with her some more later. Lately, I have taken to (soft-paw) boxing. You may call me Spitty-Ray. I have a mean 1-2 combo and I never lose.
