Making Mad Over Breaking Bad

Yo. The Human's in Summer School Mode, so you'd think she'd have more time for the kitty, yo? And she might, if she weren't mainlining Breaking Bad episodes like they were the purest blue ice on the street. But as it is, she's sittin' all glassy-eyed in front of the computer, clicking Next Episode just like she didn't even have a kitty to serve. Yo.

We've heard that stuff can be addictive. The sitcom, that is. MOL!

Dude. You need to come here. Even though Br Ba was filmed here, my mom has never seen it. (The car wash is right across the street from where she used to work, and a few times even her bank branch was used in the series [after the feds made them vacate it, that is]!) Want to know a secret? She'd see little green signs that said Br Ba on light posts and for years couldn't figure it out--the only thing she could think of was bedroom bathroom, you know, like real estate! Duh.

Spitty, it's the Island Mom. This time I side with your human. Breaking Bad is an awesome show and you should let her watch all she wants. Yo.

Spitty, I am SO glad my human hasn't gotten that affliction! She misses every last show that all her friends are glued to, even the good shows. Not that this makes her any more attentive to ME, however!

haha good luck prying her away from that one

We'll have Mommy send over a few gallons of HFS if you need to dispose of a body...

Dude, I don’t have that particular problem with TW. It’s her baseball addiction. Her team sucks but she keeps watching. She says they’re like watching a movie about a train wreck. You know it’s gonna crash but you don’t know when and you can’t not look. Do what I do and start poking her in the rear.

Spitty, I kind of like TV....wish my mom would watch more of it so I could claim some serious lap time. As far as my mom goes, during the summer she hardly sits down. Maybe I should introduce her to Breaking Bad. Spitty, this could be a good thing for you.

I've never seen that show, but I'm not much for t.v. because I like things quiet. Can't your human watch tv and give you brushies at the same time?

We so know the feeling, Spitty! We were like that a few months ago. But the series DOES END. And it is very very engaging.
Now we just are worried Äiti is going to start with Orange is the New Black.

I'd try breaking some bad behavior - ya know, knocking stuff over to get her attenshun. Maurice has to do dat wif his momma.

It's time to start exercising those claws and teeth on her.

This is the time you make full use of your floofy tail, Spitty. Lay in front of the monitor and flick your tail continuously in front of her face. It could go either way, one where she stops watching and pays attention to you, or two, she pushes you away and continues to watch for 2 minutes before guilt overwhelms her and she attends to your every need. Good luck!

Spitty. Here. It's THAT simple.

Mom hardly ever watches anything but the news. The rest of the time is mine. (well, when she's home which I admit isn't but several hours till night night times.

I have never seen that show Spitty. Everyone seems to rave about it

TV is the devil. Chew the correct cords so she can't do it!

We've never seen it but we think you do look good at being bad Spitty!

I've not seen the show, but I can understand being a maniac about one. Anyone ever hear of The X-Files? Still a nut about that show after all these years! Spitty, go sit in her lap!

Spitty I think my mom has the same bug... she tried to catch up on Downton Abbey (yes, I know...)...even my dad left the crime scene as they celebrated christmas there... on first day of summer... while we have 30°C outside and while streets melt away...

Spitty, this is the time you lay down by the keyboard and flip your tail up across the screen. If that doesn't work, you find something to break ;-)

Spitty our Mom watched the very last episode and only the last episode but thoroughly enjoyed it!

Seville at Nerissa's Life said...

Spitty, that's just not right. Not right at all.

At my house, when the peeps plunk their tails in front of the television, it usually means prime tummy rubs & chin scritches for me. No way you can get your mum to watch these bad breaks on the television? Bet if you could, you might be able to benefit from the breakers.

So...I was thinking. Why is your human doing summer school? If she taught cats, they would all be gone at the regular end of school!

Spitty...you look so funny. Tell Mom Mary that binge watching is only allowed when you are napping. All other time at home must be spent catering to your every whim and when you are awake you must be at Cat Scouts, eating or being brushed. Tell her, "Kitties Blue have spoken!" XO, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo

(angel) Grrreta and Fam said...

Um,...unless your human is doing it wrong, watching the episodes should leave both of her hands completely free for brushies, scritches, and flinging around a toy wand for King Spitty. If she insists on doing something non-kitteh related she needs to multi-task. It sounds like she may have forgotten who is in charge at Casa de Spitty.

Winston said...

The 'next episode' button should only be available once the 'make sure you have fed the kitty' button has been pressed...I had to wotch THREE episodes of Hells Kitchen USA before I gotted my bedtime milky last night...

The Island Cats said...

Spitty, Island Mom here again...when your human is done watching Breaking Bad, tell her to start watching House of Cards. Of course, she can brush you and give you treats while she watches. :)

Your photos up top are making us all smile over here! The mom here has what she calls TV Narcolepsy. Turn on TV, settle in, and fall asleep. Never fails.

Humans! Our mom has started an addiction to computer games. We are bored.

Hairballs and 'stinky' deposits usually snap Meowma out of her TV/Computer stupor real quick. Just a suggestion.

Você é melhor do que o computador, será que ela não percebe? Oh querido Spitty talvez você tenha que sabotar hehehe

Spitty, maybe you enjoy if you watch the show together.
One of my boys watches Star Trek with his dad :-)

A well placed hairball MIGHT get her attention focused back on YOU and only YOU......instead of "Breaking Bad" it would be "Yakking Bad"......worth considering anyway!

*sigh* Just you wait. OUR human's been mainlining the new 24 AND rumor has it she's jonesing for a marathon Fargo session. Glogirly tells her the series is better than the MOVIE (which she loved) and as good as Breaking Bad.

WORD.

Poor Spitty! Thank goodness our Mom's only addiction is us and blogging otherwise we would be in deep kitty litter!
