Kittyless Flashback Friday*

When the Human's Mom was just a wee girl, she and her Mom used to send an autograph book off to celebrities who caught their  (admittedly quirky) fancy and ask them to sign and return the book. One such signer was John Philip Sousa, who added a sweet little bar of music to his 1928 signature.

We think that was pretty nice.

* A travesty if ever there was one, my Furiends.

Yes, it is a traversty BUT if you can sell this “autograph” I’ll bet you can be rich, Rich, RICH!! Beyond your wildest dreams. Seriously, with that bar of music, this is worth $$.

That's a cool thing that your human did. Like CK said, those autographs could be worth some serious kibble.

You are always here in spirit if not in body Spitty. That is a very cool autograph

Very interesting to see the autograph, but I've got to agree, Spitty - kittyless posts are a travesty. It's one step forward, two steps back with your human training, isn't it? Sheeesh.

I enjoyed that very much and so glad you posted it. Otherwise I would not have been able to either know about it OR to see it. I can look at your handsome form in the header. Or in purrson.

My father LOVED any Souza march that played on the radio. He'd start marching around and da-da-dah with the beat. He would have been 87 tomorrow. Spitty, thanks for the reminder; what fabulous timing! That's a cool signature, even though I'm sure you'll keep it in the family forever.

Impressive! Mr Sousa is a fine looking man, but your kittyless post is quite unnecessary!!
