Well-Fed, Flea-Free?

As predicted following the demise of my beloved Whiska's, I have not yet starved myself to the vanishing point [nor lost so much as an ounce--Ed.] I have instead discovered the Wonderful World of Fancy Feast flavors and even other good-for-me foods [sort of; do not make me tell them how much spendy cat food I have scraped into the garbage. --Ed.]

I have been given my August dose of Advantage and it has been several weeks since any fleeze, living or dead, have been spotted. I do not scratch more than any normal red-blooded cat, and no little living or dead bodies are discovered in the tiny-spaced teefs of the flea comb. Nevertheless, the Human intends to keep up the monthly doses through at least November or December--to get through the hot Indian Summer season when them wicked fleeze are most likely to flourish.

  1. Glad to hear you're eating, Spitty. Hooray for those FF flavors!

And yippee about those fleeze saying adios. They're a pain (literally).

  2. Oh man, Spitty, We rarely get FF. The mom says it's like McDonald's for kitties...and she's always trying to feed us healthy stuff. Can we come live with you?

    1. Spitty, honestly, if you eat the FF...then that's okay with us. We'll let you in on a little secret. The mom keeps a stash of FF in the cupboard for us...for either when we won't eat or when she goes away (like when she went to BlogPaws) because she knows we will eat FF and she doesn't want to make the dad-guy the bad-guy and feed us foods we really don't like.

  4. Is FF junk food ? We loved the stuff we tried here - too much Äiti said.
Now you get three bowls for one kitty - that means we should get 42 bowls here. We like!

  6. Thrilling news about the fleeeeeeeze, Spitty.

As for finding more spendy foods that you like, let me tell ya that there are about eleventy hundred and five different kinds, and I think that it behooves you to insist on trialling them all before settling on the first two that you were offered. Sound like a plan, my friend?

  13. Glad you are flea free finally. TW won't let me have Whiskas either cos the ingredient list made her hair stand on end but I seem to have missed seeing this. Every day I hear her gripe about all the food she throws away and all the money she throws away on it. You should do Chewy reviews cos then you get expensive food for free to try to see if you like it.

Leave me a meow or a hiss; I don't mind a hiss or two. . . or even a bitey.
