Sunday Selfie: Day of Rest

The party's over . . . and the Human returns to the workaday world of stoopy school tomorrow. Thank Cod *I* do not have to go  ::shudder::

I shall be napping in kingly splendor here at the window, keeping my eye on the neighbors. And their possible shenanigans.

Yes, I can do both.

  1. Don't over strain yourself trying to do too much Spitty. Yes, with the Human back at the education factory, the burden falls on your shoulders, but you need to pace yourself.

And, ah, um ... speaking of pacing yourself, it's about the time of the year when you and the Human need to have a deep and meaningful conversation about your blog posts. I know you've got a lot to share: your inspirational musings; your advice for younger kitties; your 'food bowl half full' optimism that lifts the spirits of all your readers; those sensational action movies that keep us riveted to our seats; etc etc. But you're being let down (AGAIN) by that lazy Human and those thumbs that she claims are so magical. Are you aware that we're almost at the end of November and you've only been allowed to post 219 times this calendar year??? Last year, the Human made some claim about 300 posts being the target. I thought she was needlessly restricting your aspirations for world domination and challenged her to lift her game with a view to getting you up to 400 by the end of 2016. No doing!

This year, however, she's slacked off even further and you're going to need to ride her hard if you're to make even her paltry goal of 300 posts by December 31. It's such a shame that she can be so effective in censoring you in this manner. Please think this through and let me know what I can do to help you spur her into a frenzy for the remaining 34 days of the year.

  4. Sad when you have to depend on the antics of neighbors for entertainment, Spitty.

  6. Of course you can do both, you're a cat! You can sleep but those ears are always on the swivel! You hear anything and one eye pops open, it's something good, the other one pops open, it's a girl cat and you sit up and give a Spitty smile, hello ladies! hee hee

Leave me a meow or a hiss; I don't mind a hiss or two. . . or even a bitey.
