Hi Kitties! I feel I've been a bit too available to the Human lately and she has started to take certain liberties, like picking me up when I haven't given permission and parking herself far too close to me for comfort (my comfort, that is).
So I felt like it was time to spend an evening UTT (as opposed to UTB, where it is very dark) to retrain her. She's taking it pretty well, actually, except for the flashy box in my face.
She just sighed and said, "All right, Spitty, you go ahead and stay under there, then, if it makes you feel more secure."
But I notice she is lurking and that makes me doubt her soothing reassurances.
Mommy's do that. They say things to make us feel safe and secure and WHAM! They swoop down and sweep us up into their arms and smother is with those old kisses. Gees. Then we have to launder our furs allll over agaon.

ReplyDeleteWe feel for you. It is rare that one can achieve the level of conscious coordination that the Prime Minister and I have. Those off times are uncomfortable at best.
BTW, if the Admiral can swing by and get you, will you come to the adoption? It certainly would add a cetain something to the festivities.
