Hello, Kitties! Well, here I am looking all artsy and mysterious at first, then all goofy and giddy. Hey, it's Caturday! I can act any way I want, right?
The Human's bummed that summer vacation, such as it was, comes to a screeching halt Monday at 7:00 a.m., and her delightful days here at home with me are drawing to a rapid close. No longer can she stay up into the wee hours, sleep till, like, 8:30 (can you imagine??), lollygag in her jammies till noon and then go shopping, or to the movies, or for a walk, or out to a fancy restaurant.But there is a word, floating juuuuuuust beyond the horizon, and that word begins with an R, Kitties. Can you guess what it is?

ReplyDeleteOurs must go back to work too, and we are less than impressed. We are wondering what R could be....rehab...? redundancy...:? risotto ? No we cannot guess. perhaps it is some Americanism that we would not understand.
We hope you make the best of your remaining hours with her, keeping her awake for maximum possible attention time.
Revenge, good buddy, revenge! There is nothing in this world so satisfying as kitty revenge! ;) Be innovative and let us all in on it, ok?

ReplyDeleteSchool already?? It's starts here next week, too. My mom says that's just wrong. Everybody *knows* it should be the Wednesday after Labor Day. In fact, my mom celebrates that as the new year!

Yep, I think Andrea and the Celestial Kitties are right. If it is retirement, there would be good and bad. She would by at your beck and call all day, but do you really want her home AAALLLL day?

Our mom used to have that type of job before we came to live with her. Now, she works at a 8-5 job, 12 months a year until she retires in 5 more years.
