Hello, Kitties! Do you remember these people?
Our holiday-enthusiast neighbors?
Well, unfortunately their Christmas display does not feature
that fabulous blow-up Spitty,
but it is quite, uh, festive all the same!
There are plenty'o'Christmas balls
(though sadly I did not find mine).
There's a nice Merry Christmas sign, Santa, a snowman and his Mini-Me,
and since they did not have blow-up Me, I offered them the Real Deal,
though no one was much interested.
And the stoopy Human said I couldn't go over there.
She can be a real buzz-kill, you know?
They sure pack a lot in a small space! You look GOOD there, Spittimus!

ReplyDeleteAlso, I think you would have made an excellent addition to their very...ummm...festive Christmas decorations -- it's too bad your Human said "no." :(

ReplyDeleteme hates to confess, but my Daddy LOVES those huge blow up things! We have a 6 and a half foot Santa and A 5 foot snowman in front of our house. Daddy says he is going to buys a new one every year. Mommy cringes.

Spitster, if those are inflatable, all it would take is one claw, and the whole load of hot air would be gone. Wethinks this is totally overdone and love Prancer Pie's comment! Christmas should be a time for subtlety and taste, thinking of what we might like to receive as presents rather than geting eye ache form tat.

You mean you couldn't go over there and mark it as yours? How very sad. It does look much better with a black cat. Much more cozy, realistic and down to earth.

That vulgar display of vomitous eruptious of holiday kitsch does not need the elegant feline design element. I am afraid there is no hope of classy redemption. Stay home and write your congressman. True, it will be an exercise in futility, but some exercise is better than none right?

WOW!!! When we saw the first photo, we thought it was a miniature display...like the size of a large potted plant. WHOA!!! I sure hope Santa can find his way through the menagerie!

ReplyDeleteWow they really like their decorations.. I came to say thank you so much for my fabulous package. I am so thrilled with everything and you have been so very generous and thoughtful. Mum and dad have your wonderful city on their to visit list and were so thrilled at the beautiful tram and magnet. The tram will have pride of place every year now.
