Gray Mouse with Cat

A while back, the Human bought me this soft Gray Mousie from Feline o'Mine. Here we are together, enjoying the last nice sunpuddle we are likely to have in 2012. It is good that gray mousie is so loyal to me, since yesterday The Human killed little green mousie by running him through the washer and dryer at the laundromat. I had hidden him for safekeeping in the set of sheets she ripped from the bed without first making sure nothing drownable might have been entangled in them. It was sad, Furiends: He disintegrated. The Human did not even bother to bring the remains home to me.
Still, I have Gray Mousie and Pinkie [Uh, not to mention your 258 other little mousies. -Ed.]

  1. It does not matter how many mousies you have Spitty - you could have THOUSANDS and the loss of even one is tragic... ESPECIALLY if it was preventable! You human needs to pay restitution for her carelessness.

  3. Oh King Spitster, your poor mousie. This is tragic. Green Mousie was your favourite. My favourite mouse is always getting hidden, stolen, ninjad, etc. But so far not washed. Did Green Mousie leave his mark and permanently stain the sheets ? That would be a fitting memorial to a brave soul.

  12. *bows head in honor of green mousie*

We are shocked at the irresponsibility of your human. This is why we always assist with changing the bedding...they can't be trusted.

  20. OMC, Spitty, that is a true tragedy! As a matter of fact, I think we should all get together and propose a law which makes the washing of cat toys--either intentional or unintentional--a class 4 felony, punishable by 100 new toys or 100 days of the food of our choice!

  21. Alas poor green mousie..
Well, at least he got a burial at sea, sorta..
Gray mousie is cool looking! Just be careful where you hide him! You know humans.. they don't always look out for your stuff. Star can testify, some of her favorite black mousies have been sucked up in the sweeper. For some reason, she never wants them back after that.

Leave me a meow or a hiss; I don't mind a hiss or two. . . or even a bitey.
