Look at it this way: She's SERVING you. Nothing more. The fact that it feels hebbenly is totally INCIDENTAL and not the reason you required a lil' scritch.
Caroline can definitely give you lessons on holding a grudge. I mean, she's still crabilated about Russell and it's been like five years. And then Pee Queen moving in! Oy! She's got two grudges going at once! (And you wonder why I call her Snapoline.)
The king requires servents to make him feel good. Scritches feel good. The servent is doing her job to make up to the offended king for leaving him. An extra treat would help too, right?

Spitty, you are just training that Mom to give the scritches in the correct places and in that way, the hand is very convenient for a good bitey for revenge. But the scritches are good, aren't they. Take care.

Spitty just cause you gets pettins does not mean the end to grudge. It is just showing how fabulous you are and that cheating with another cat is wrong.
Eh, you can still hold a grudge and get skritches. I do it all the time. Just let her work, and when you're done, nip at her. You win!
