Fritzie, Lord Chancellor of the Western Realm

On the heels of this weekend's Coronation,
I wish to introduce a longtime and
most Highly Valued Member of my Court:
Fritzie

My dear furiend is directly descended from the Noble Chester of Chelsea, loyal housecat of Sir Thomas More, the noted Roamin' Catlick Felinist and Lord Chancellor to King Henry VIII, best remembered for his Catting Around.
Sir Thomas was the author of UtoPeea, that timeless volume of fiction wherein Humans are imagined as capable of living in purrfect Harmony with one another. It is, of course, a farce.

Fritzie's Human, alas, does not maintain a blog, but Fritzie and I have engaged in near-daily correspondence for about five years. We are in purrfect accord in every particular regarding the needs of the Realm.

  3. You're getting out of control with the power vested in you, King Spitty. He does look a bit like Buzzy though.

  4. We dunno, Spitty,,,,Fritzie looks like he might try to overthrow the King.

  5. So, what exactly are Lord Chancellor Fritzie's duties. I am comforted to think that perhaps a ginger mancat is in charge of the finances!

  6. He looks so regal! Alas, none of us has noble blood or a mom good with Photoshop. But, we can always dream.

  9. Fritzie is adorable! What a sweetie! I mean, what a regal, noble character he is!

Star says: Hmm, you should bring him over some night for chicken snacks and catnip and the three of us could hang out. purrr
You are so right, my mom really should fluff my blanket give me snacks and read that book to me! Her giggling is annoying though.. I'll have to claw her when she does that.

  11. A good furiend of Spitties is a furiend of us all. Is Fritzie residing in the great state of jack daniels or will he be ruling from afar? I am a bit suspecious that we have reached a point where those who have the power of photoshop are those who will be appointed powerful rulers of the realm, - but if you can vouch for the ginger mancat then Fritzie is in.

  18. So why exactly has his human failed to set up his own blog? I'm pretty sure that's a violation of cat law.

Does Caroline need to scream at the human? I could send her post haste.

  25. Happy to make Sir Fritzie's acquaintance. He is very noble.
Speaking of UtoPeea have you seen the new book of kitty poetry titled "I could Pee on This: And Other Poems by Cats." Available on Amazon for 10 bucks. Very inspirational.

Regarding Ceiling Cats' (ahem) sex, we meant 'him' in the generic term. Ceiling Cat strives to be a positive example and is probably nootered. So in actuality is an 'it.'

  26. Greetings Lord Chancellor! I, your humble servant, Sparky Spitfire, await your call to service. I wonder, yer Lordship, if you are awares of what happened to the original Sir Thomas? No? the LC who pissed off a certain "King" who wanted to cavort as many kittehs...uh, I mean, womens, as he pleased? Well, bend down so I can whisper it your handsome orange ear...

    *whisperwhisperwhisper-shocked-gasps-whisperwhisper-pointed-looks-at-Spitty-whisperwhisper...*

So, my advice - keep your opinions to yerself. smile and nod. stay away from sharp objects.

You're welcome, my Lord. Any times.

  27. So what yer really sayin' is you only crown the sycophants? S'ok, that's pretty traditional from what we gather.
