I don't really want to talk about it.
You know you scared me today,
picking me up and carrying me around like a sack of potatoes.
And yes, I know I scratched you a little as I squirmed violently to escape:
But honestly, it was your own fault,
and you know it.

  2. Spitty! That was not very nice. I'm sure your human only wanted to give you a hug

  3. We understand how you felt, Spitty. She might have been going to stuff you in a PTU, or something even more evil like a water baff or something. It was your instinct at work.

  4. Spitty, that's collateral damage...she should know that by now.

  5. Whoa! that's a nice size scratch but it pales in comparison to what I've done to the peeps. Did you think she was gonna stuff you into the PTU and take you back to the v.e.t.? They might've given you your missing pieces back. MOL!

  9. Why were you being carried around like a sack of potatoes, Spitty? My human carries me around like a, a - baby! Which is almost nearly as bad.

  10. You never know what monster lurks inside a bean!

One of our kitties who came before was torchered then thrown from a moving car and he got like that when he was picked up, understandably. A cat scratch is not fun for the kitty who was so scairt it scratched or for the bean who recieved it. We will purr that your mom's owie will go away quickly.

  11. Well, the humans just need to be more careful, right Spitty? I mean, who wants to be carried around like a sack of potatoes? We do hope your humans owie gets better soon, though!

  14. Oh Spitty. I know what you mean. Mommy loves to carry me (something about me not being heavy like the rest) but I don't really like it after the first 8 seconds. Does Mommy learn? NOOOOOOOO. She keeps at it. Probably because she likes having pictures drawn all over her arms.
You want me to come over to soothe your nerves?

  16. Aw, poor Spitty darling. I hope you forgive your human soon. Poor human, I know how frustrating it is to want to just pick up a kitty and cuddle! Star would shred me, and Leo is strong and pushes away. Well, I can sometimes get away with it with Leo... It's so hard to have such a gorgeous kitty who wont be snuggled! Give her a break once in a while, please Spitty?

Star says: Not too bad of a scratch. Too much worse and you'd be in for a claw clipping, trust me! No one wants that... While you're giving your human the back of disrespect, do you want to pop over and have some chicken, or coconut oil? And I heard you ask Conan the Barbarian if I was addicted.. I'm not addicted, I just want some every morning. What's wrong with that?

  17. Oh NO, she did not pick you up. That is unforgivable. We do NOT allow that around here at all. You didn't draw much blood.
Listen Spitty we are so glad you are looking after our Mom and reminding her what day it is. She has gone over the edge so please keep track of her, if you will. I hope she gets today correct. So far she is still feeding us. MOL

  18. Oops! Yes, that was totally your human's fault. Why was she picking you up anyway?

  23. You are like Jenna. She loves her human but doesn't like to be held. I do pick her up when I'm sitting. She is always ready to jump down, though.

  25. I scratched the Mom a few days ago too Spitty. I was taunting Patches and she tried to get in between us. I leaped out at her and sunk my teeth into her arm. Luckily for her she was wearing a thick sweater so there is only a couple small punctures but there is lots of bruising. That'll learn her. -Scout

  26. Poor Mommy. We do that to our Mommy and Daddy too; though, we know we shouldn't. Sorry you got scared. Hope you two kissed and made up. Purrs and hugs from the kitties at The Cat on My Head, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Josette

  30. Spitty
I like being picked up and Momma kisses me all over. I just have to endure it. It makes her feel better. But your human knows you did not mean to scratch you were uncomfortable and I know you didn't want to hurt her.

  34. Spitty, Glogirly has a gash the size of Texas on her wrist. Waffles Too REALLY laid into her when our Houseguests arrived.

I was kind of laffing, but I don't think she saw.
At least no one can blame me for this one.

Leave me a meow or a hiss; I don't mind a hiss or two. . . or even a bitey.
