Lonely Caturday

The Human tells me this evening that she is going out of town tomorrow for a birthday party to which I have not been invited. Now I know what you're thinking, but it would have been nice to be asked.
She says she's leaving in the late morning and will be back by bedtime, but I'm worried. What if I get hungry before then? What if I eat too much breakfast and there's nuffing left for later? What if I want to play? Or, worse, have brushies
What about all that?

  1. Not acceptable, she needs to stay home and cater to your every whim.

  3. You SO should have been included n the invite. So you could have turned them down.

  4. Gasp! You mean someone is having a party and DIDNT invite you?? What kind of party is that?? And your human would rather be somewhere without you?? I'm... shocked.. Pardon me, but I must go rest my head as I contemplate such thing...

Star says: hmm, your human seems to be doing a lot of things that put her first, not you. Perhaps it's time for a house trashing party... or just don't be home when she gets back. You can come to my house and I'll paw feed you chicken from my own dainty paws, then we can have a snuggle, some baff lickings and whatever else our little hearts desire, ok? Purrrrr

  5. Well Spitty, I suggest you do what you do best - nap!

  6. This is a travesty, nay, an ABOMINATION of the Cat-human dealio!

You just tell your human "no dice". We're willing to bet she did NOT submit the proper forms (in triplicate, typed) at LEAST two weeks in advance for approval.

We'd advise yakking copiously *just* before she's ready to leave. A) She'll be racked with guilt, and B) you can always re-consume the mess if you get peckish.

  7. She should have hired someone to come in and cater to your every whim, Spitty.

    ReplyDelete
  8. She hasn't hired a servant to wait on you while she's away?? I mean, you should have an extra servant on hand anyway...

    ReplyDelete
  9. Oh, that's just WRONG. Spitty, why did she not even invite you? And why is there not a substitute servant there to cater to your every desire?

We hope your human has fun at the party, and that she feels so bad upon her return that she spoils you rotten! :)

  10. Spitty, your human should hire somebody to be at your beck and call ALL DAY while she is gone! I am sure the hourly rate on this is not cheap, but neither are you!

  11. What if you frow up in her shoes? Heh heh. I cannot believe she's being so cold and callous. Come over here if you get hungry or lonely. I think Pop may fill my crunchies dish by then and there's plenty of FF.

  13. I say you hide her food the next day.
Make HER go without food until bedtime and see how SHE likes it.
    So there!

  14. It's unfortunate that you won't have anyone to cater to your whims tomorrow. But, you will have your kingdom to yourself so you can lounge anywhere and not be disturbed. Hopefully the human will make up for her absence by giving you extra treats, play time, and brushies on Sunday.

  15. All good questions.

BTW, our mama knows the Albany Bulb. She used to walk there with papa. In fact she once blogged about it in her personal blog. http://calrat.blogspot.com/2011/04/outdoor-art-gallery.html

  17. Oh Spitty-Dearest, I am so sorry to be late visitin. There were horrible noisy Beins all in the house makin bangin noises an it took us a while to come out after. But had I known you were lonely, I would have been out the bedroom and over right through those strange Beins legs into the telepot tunnel to comfort you as I am over now...

Comfort your upset royal head on my tummy an I will purr you to sleep while slippin the best treats I have brought into yer mouf fer gentle nomming like peeled caterpillars! Oh, my dearest one, I allowed myself to fail in my attention to you in my own fear of strangers here and I should not have. You ALLUS come first. Can you ever forgive me? ~ Iza-Lambie

  20. I agree with you - why we get no birthday invitation? Maybe you can call the pizza-guy, when you are hungry? Have a great caturday ( I know to be alone is boring) - I hope your mom is back soon.

  21. I sure hate you being alone Spitty! Hey, a NipFest Pawty with your pals might just do the trick!

    ReplyDelete
  22. Oh no that's terrible! Did you obtain your human's credit card before she left? 'Cause you need to order food and massage chair delivered while she is gone!

    ReplyDelete
  23. We bet your mom will leave extra food for you and give you brushies when she gets home. This will be another lazy day so you can rest up for your next great adventure. If you are interested in another tuxie girl, though our dad calls her a cow cat, Lisbeth has her paw raised. 24. You have VERY valid concerns Spitty.....as if it weren't desperately insulting NOT to be invited to the pawty, then you're left to fend for yourself food, brush, and "other" wise. Want me to report her to the ASPCA or HSUS? Just gimme the word buddy....
