It's kind of far for a day trip, especially on a school day, but she is happy to do it as the trip is to attend the wedding of my beloved Aunties who take care of me when the Human 'bandons me for anything more than a day.
The Aunties have been life partners for more than 20 years, but it is only now that they have been allowed to celebrate their union by getting married. They are happy and excited, the Human is happy and excited, and their family and friends are coming from near and far to witness their vows and make merry afterwards!
To tell you the truth, I think it would be swell if Onyx, their sweet little girlcat, and Yours Truly could attend also, but it's kind of far and I suppose we might misbehave.
We'll be back Tuesday with a repurrt on the proceedings.

Why don't you and Onyx celebrate together back in the Castle ? We wish the Aunties a massive celebration and all good wishes for their next 20 years or more together. It is wonderful they can FINALLY do this!

Spitty I can almost hear you snoring here in Virginia! Talk about relaxed - you mean you'd give naps up to go to Mendocino? I think it's lovely that your Aunties are tying the knot - that's very special - and I 'm sure your human will be bringing back tons of photos so it will ALMOST be like you were there.....only you get to SLEEP right through it so that's not all bad!!
