Well, yes, we still have Christmas decorations too. The peeps deserted me today and went to visit family where they celebrated Christmas again. The house the went to still had the tree up and everything. Can you believe I was abandoned? I did get a present while the peeps got nothing but some cookies.
Ha! I once left up my huge Christmas tree all year and into the next april! So you'll hear nothing from me on your mom keeping something up! Love you in the sun, Spitty dear. I'd be tempted to kiss your sweet head if I were there!

My mum had a friend who liked his (artificial) Christmas tree so much that he kept it up for 4 or 5 years and turned the lights on every day. He only took it down when he moved house.
Spitty, It IS January and you may direct your Human to leave any decorations up that suit YOU!!! Um, I'm gonna crack that jar open toDAY! So you know. xxoox
It's ok, the Russian Orthodox Christmas was January 7th and my Christmas cards are still being displayed in the kitchen and my office....and I am Jewish lol Congrats to your 49'ers!!!!!! Hoping they go to the Bowl!
We still have our tree up! I'm okay with that, though. I like lying down under it and lookin' up the pretty lights and givin' a glass ball an occasional swipe.

I have sunny perch envy Spitty! Mom doesn't have any windows that get great winter sun like yours do so we have to chase the sun puddles where we can find them......sigh....... Marty
