Eyes Wide Shut

Hi Furiends, I am feeling pretty mentally healthy, thank you very much. I am back in my regular routine, visiting all my usual patrol spots (my tower, the dining room chest, the bedroom windows, the kitchen and back porch), eating my regular food without being reminded, and not racing away when the Human comes toward me, among other normal behaviors. Like napping. And being annoyed by the Flashy Box. As you can see.

I have not gone UTB since Friday.

I am actually almost sorry for scaring the Human so badly. I guess she thought she had traumatized me beyond repair. Bah! Pfft! I'm tougher than that!

What we really thank you for are all your sweet comments even when we have not been visiting at all, a situation the Human swears will be remedied tonight and tomorrow. Thanks for listening to us rant and rave report calmly throughout my little breakdown.

  11. Spitty, all we humans seem to do is have a break down when our masters (i.e. our cats, other companion Beings) are unwell. I'm very glad you're back to normal now and appreciate your human stopping by re: Nicki, given her/your own circumstances. Lots of hugs from me to you both, and mancatly kitty kisses from the boys.

We had Niko's annual checkup on Saturday and even that makes me nervous. I know you did scare your human a lot! Glad you are being your normal self. Take a good relaxing nap, Spitty. And Maybe your human can use some relaxing nap too :-)

  17. There's no need to feel badly. We've gotta keep those humans on their toes! Hee hee.
Get ready to teleport over, Spitty. The chicken is in the dehydrator and we should have jerky by the time you get here for Whisky's birthday!

  19. Spitty we knew you'd be back when you were good and ready to be! Not a minute sooner....besides, you have nothing to apologize for - we all need a bit of a "mental health" break from time to time.....I'm just glad you're better - THAT's what counts buddy.

    Hugs, Sammy

  24. I am glad that you are back to normal again Spitty. It can be fun to scare the humans sometimes, but they never seem to share the joke.

  31. We tooootally identify. We had the same kinda breakdowns over here and haven't been visiting either (just catching up now, in fact!). We're so very glad you're no longer UTB - but we do believe that a healthy scare is good for the humans every once in a while, so don't feel bad about it. At all. (MOL)

Leave me a meow or a hiss; I don't mind a hiss or two. . . or even a bitey.
