Stepping Off the Rollercoaster

Last night I was kinda freaked out: I was pacing and racing and swishing my floofy tail like mad! But tonight I am chillaxing, staying out from UTB, curled up, and not pacing nor making the Human insane with concern. I am sooooooo much calmer. I think it's 'cause I napped for about 700 hours today. I do believe I will be ready for the Ball tomorrow, Fiona and Giulietta, so put on your dancing slippers!

Thank you all for your sweet words--we will get back to visiting this weekend. The Human says she is almost as frazzled a wreck as I was . . . I mean, yes, I bellowed at her at 3:30 a.m., and again at 4:30 a.m. and disrupted her night's sleep.

But c'mon! She sooooooo deserved it!

  3. Whew, you had me worried. The Human deserves to lose some sleep after what she put you though. I hope you didn’t go through too many indignities. Rest, my sweet. You look so peaceful.

  6. Whew. Nothing like 700 hours of naptime to cure all ills. Skootch is commiserating with you on the indignities of POUTRAGE, among other nasty matters. All is well, sleep on it, and prepare yourself for the BALL!

  9. That 700 hours did it! Although Caroline is thrilled you had RTS (restless tail syndrome) because she ALWAYS has RTS. Oh, and she sends early Valentine's kissies your way, too. So I guess she wasn't mad about yesterday and all.

  17. Spitty, it is breaking all our little hearts that you have been feeling so unwell. And we hate that we can't bring the Dance to you so that you don't have to venture to NC for the party. You don't have to pick us up at our house 'cause we've got 20 inches of snow and you might have to drop in by helicopter as our street hasn't been plowed. We will all meet you there! Hope all your friends will stop by our Valentine post at www.thecatonmyhead.com to see you and Giulietta and Fiona and the rest of us as well dressed in our dance duds. Love, purrs and paw-pats, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo

  34. Glad to hear you're feelin' better. Never fun visitin' the doctor. They poke and they prod and do all sorts of unmentionables.

But it sounds like your doctor has got you all fixed up and that's a GOOD thing. Rest up a bit more and you'll be ready for battle and I, Nerissa the Cat, will be right there by your side. What country shall we invade first?

    Purrs,
