Wily, Warmish Wednesday

The Human just thinks she's sooooooo smart, covering the comfy chairs to prevent my furs and claws from redecorating her boring furniture. Well, I confess it was a fair amount of work to loosen her tightly-tucked-in comforter, but I wormed my way inside, dammit! Try to keep me out, will you Woman? Phfft! It is to laugh!

It was kinda stoopy of me, really, since it was 86° today. But it's the principle of the thing: The Kitty Goes Anywhere He Wants.

  14. Absolutely right Spitty. You needed to show her - even if you only chose to lie there for a few minutes. Demands treats and extra brushies to compensate you for the hardship you endured!

  20. Great job, Spitty! No one can keep you out.
I understand the principle. One of my boys jumps into regrigerator no matter how cold it is in a room :-)

  22. Your furs will make a lovely compliment to that all white cushion. Just tell Mom Mary that tweed furniture is all the rage. We had 86 degrees on Sunday. Since then it has been stoopid cold...high yesterday was just 51 degrees. Today it is up to a whopping 55 degrees. We just wish it would quit raining. 23. White furniture with a black cat? What was she thinking? On the other hand, those comforters look rather cushy ;)

  24. Oh being under that hot comforter is worth it if she "gets" the statement that you're making by doing it! The King rests where he wants to - PERIOD!

  33. That's right, Spitty! Way to stick to your principles. We really don't understand why the parents think they can keep us out or off of certain places. Their protesting just makes us want to go there more.

  34. Absolutely it IS the principle of the thing! Glad you did it! GLad you got some air up there too so you didn't suffocate trying to prove your point!

  35. It IS the principle! You look good framed in white too Spitty!

  36. We're with Terri about the white furniture. Our mom thought the leather couch was a good idea. It was for a while, but years of scampering cats have taken their toll. It is every cat's duty to deposit as much fur as possible on every surface - especially the clean white ones.
