Foster Fail #3

Two of the Human's dearest friends in the world foster kittens for their local humane society. Little Butterscotch here brings their "foster fail" total to three, as this wee one will join two older siblings, Lily & Cooper, who 'failed' into the family last year. You might remember them from this post.  That kitten *is* kind of cute. Even I have to say that much.

  2. Seems like it's a mis-label to call something a 'fail' when it's the absolute RIGHT thing to do! A pretty kitten, yes!

  3. It wasn't a fail for cute Butterscotch. :)

  4. Precisely why Äiti cannot foster! Butterscotch is GORGEOUS and as a handsome longfurred gingercat, the wriitng was one that wall. And what a lovely name. I approve of food names for felines.

  9. What a little doll baby! Those eyes probably melted their soul, circumventing their resistance and causing the 'fail'!

Star says: I feel for those other two kitties.. Seriously. Spitty, don't be taken in by any reports that I'm softening towards one of the introoders.. I still hate everyone! I'd hate to see my reputation damaged in your eyes.. XOXO

  10. Aren't you glad your Human is so busy with school work and Breaking Bad that she has no time to foster? But then again, some times foster failures can turn out to be the best thing that ever happened. Just look at our Tutu!

  11. Yes, give the little devil his due. Our Mommy wants to smooch him. Pushover.

  12. What a cute foster fail he is! This is one of the reasons we couldn't foster, even if Ashton could handle change in the household.

  14. Oh SPITTY! What a beautiful baby! No more than YOU as a baby or even as a mancat...you are delectable at any age but this is an adorable baby. And mommy and I totally understand your Human's usage of the word "fail" here. In the context of your blog, you are, completely, unerringly, totally, alwaysly, correct. <3 Must be the haf'n'haf! Builds a superior mancat.

  18. Who could resist that face? No wonder she was a foster "fail." But it was a win-win all round, as far as we're concerned.

  20. that's why I can't foster. I would end up wanting to keep them all

  21. This is exactly why I won't let my mom foster either. We'd be overrun.

But this one I think I would welcome--he looks kinda Russelly.

Leave me a meow or a hiss; I don't mind a hiss or two. . . or even a bitey.
