Happy Caturday, Kitties!
As you can see, the Human has jury-rigged a little perch for me next to her desk and the window. She even provided a tiny towel for my comfort (now, now, don't be snarky--she offered a little beddie instead, but I disdained it, preferring the simple pleasures of the tiny towel).
You may wonder what happened to the nice covered basket I used to use for my window seat? Well, allow me to explain.
In mid-December, the Human repurposed her bedside table as a stand for our little tree, and then selfishly absconded with my basket to use as a bedside table.
But wait! I hear you all crying! Christmas was 23 (yes: twenty-three!) days ago; should not the tree stand have been returned to its job as a bedside table, and the basket been moved back to the window?
Indeed, my friends, indeed, these things should have happened. And yet . . . they have not.
Our tree still rests atop the bedside table. Now she's thinking about keeping it till Super Bowl Sunday.
I think it's time to demand da return of da basket.
ReplyDeleteWel, finally our tree has been deornamented today.
ReplyDeleteAh Spitty - there's ALWAYS more snoopervision, training and counselling required with your human, isn't there? You poor thing - you must be exhausted. I'd vote to let her get away with this one, and save your strength for bigger issues.

To Super Bowl sunday ??!!
ReplyDeleteI say NO way !!
What?! I think your human should return that basket right this very minute, Spitty! I know MY human would not do such a thing because Sparkle trained her well before I was here.
ReplyDeleteIs that rain? Are you looking to jump on that curtain that’s overhead?
ReplyDeleteTap tap tap. I finished the George story but didn’t see you running over to see it and compliment my fine writing skills. Could Baby Koalas have anything to do with that?
How dare she keep your basket for so long!
ReplyDeleteWow, you need to get after her for that
ReplyDeleteI agree with you Spitty, a simple towel is pretty comfy!
ReplyDeleteWe sure hope you're keeping track of her demerits!
ReplyDeleteHappy Caturday!

ReplyDeleteWe agree Spitty the things you have to put up with... it is a scandal. Have a serene and easy Sunday.

I'm afraid you have to wait a while till all that things are on the right place... imagine there are only 340 days till we have the next christmas...

ReplyDeleteOh MY Spitty, that tree is truly turning into a thorn in your side isn't it!
ReplyDeleteOh, dear...we hope the tree doesn't become a permanent fixture!
ReplyDeleteSpitty this calls for the "Back of Disrespect" BIG TIME!
ReplyDeleteIs she going to decorate the tree for the Stouper Bowl? If not, then the basket should be returned to its proper spot.
ReplyDeleteWell that tears it. You go right over to that bed...dig the covers off her pillow and roll and scratch and drool at will!
ReplyDeleteXoxo

Your human needs to get with the program, Spitty. And we are not talking about TV.
