I Remember Vacation

Ah yes, those cozy days full of sunpuddles and noms, and petting and playing and attention anytime I asked for it.

Those days are gone now, Kitties, gone like the wind that swept through Georgia. Or like the fog that swept through San Francisco.

The Human waves a melancholy goodbye before 6:30 a.m., and with her go the tasty treats, the wand toys, and (sob) the brushies. The brushies, my friends.

And what happens when she staggers in at 4:30 p.m. or even later? Well, she says hello, pats my adorable furry head, and proceeds to forget I am even alive. That's what happens. I swear.

Does anyone need a live-in boyfriend? I've been, um, snipped, but I don't eat too much and I give a very nice baff.

  1. Book a ticket dude, and get yourself over here. We suffer in the same way but there's safety in numbers.

  2. You're welcome here - we got some pretty good bacon and fish noms.

  3. Oh Spitty. My heart bleeds. If you have to stay where you are, perhaps you could re-arrange your schedule: sleep while the human is away, then jump about and sing all night. That will send a certain kind of message.

  4. No play, and no brushing? That's criminal neglect! And it is not doing your human any good either. It's unhealthy to neglect your kitty, emotionally, as well as the inevitable retribution!

It wasn't Pulitzer worthy, so I suppose it's not a big deal. =sigh=

  7. I would share my crib with you, of course... I'm afraid my staff would run away after 2 days, but as long as we have the number of the üpizza guy everything is fine :o)

  10. That's a long day without any attention........my parents are older than dirt and are retired but at least they're HOME most of the time so I get brushies and treats and stuff.....I think your situation is borderline CRUEL!

  12. *raises paw* You can live-in here if you don’t mind human size dust bunnies. We can pay attention to each other cos TW ignores me all day and she’s home. You look so lonesome all alone on that pillow.

Leave me a meow or a hiss; I don't mind a hiss or two. . . or even a bitey.
