Why, Yes . . .

I am in the Human's lap, sitting stoically through brushies and pettings, enduring the torments of the damned. Can you not see the suffering writ large across my furry brow?

    I can see the suffering, Spitty - I surely can. But think of it as an investment. If you can tolerate the Human's ham-fisted efforts to brush and pet you while you provide a continuous flow of advice, training tips and encouragement, then hopefully it will pay of - eventually. Not quite sure how old you're going to be by the time she does it exactly the way you like it, but there's always hope.
