I Think Nosy Is Much Too Harsh a Word

for the vigilant watch I keep over the neighbors and their strange doings.

Pigeons and dogs and drunk people and crazy park-dwellers stumble their way past my windows, making me appreciate the Old Bat
--but don't tell her. I have a reputation to uphold.

  4. We think "observant" is more correct. And you should be. With pigeons, park-dwellers (we hesitate to even IMAGINE what those are), drunkies, and Bast only knows what ELSE, you have to be very observant.

  5. PEE ESS: I'm pretty sure that the talio on my blog is mine. Orange wouldn't fit you well. But it WOULD be pistalular! Wait, partacicular. Um, Oh Bast ~ MARLEY

  6. Nosy is definitely not the right word. I'm thinking alert, observant, aware, prepared. I mean, SOMEONE has to be, don't they? And yes, I guess seeing some of the alternatives that exist 'out there' would make you somewhat more appreciative of your Human and that's not such a bad thing.

  7. Somebody has to monitor what is going on outside your abode! Who better than you?

  8. You are not nosy. You are the neighborhood watch cat. Every neighborhood needs one. Mauricio holds that job for our block. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo

  13. At least you have entertainment. We've got zip but we keep looking. I think we forced the person in the next building to keep the curtains closed. What a spoilsport! It's only the window at the top of the stairs, just like ours. It's not like we can see her stoopy dog or anything.

Leave me a meow or a hiss; I don't mind a hiss or two. . . or even a bitey.
