And This Was My Best Hiding Place, Too
For years I evaded her by tucking myself neatly up here on top of her pants and stuff. I could really count on at least four or five good hours to myself while she searched fruitlessly and finally gave up.
Betrayed by the dangly leg.
And the tailio, pal. The tailio.
ReplyDeleteIt's the leg and tail, Spitty. Pull those in, and she'll be searching for days!
ReplyDeleteYou perhaps need to adjust your position a little, my friend.
ReplyDeleteNo hiding place is ever permanent. At least that's what I've found.
ReplyDeleteMOL... Next time, you probably have to keep da leg & da tail !
ReplyDeleteI agree with the others - it's the tailio as well as the leg. But it looks as though you've settled comfortably on her black clothing: I hope you're furring it up real good. Next time ... seek out the white stuff. You'll deliver much better value there.

Dangly leg always does it.
ReplyDeleteSpitty, the double dangle, man...the double dangle! Your cat-moflaugue technique needs a tweek!
ReplyDeleteAnd floofy tail. You have such a terrific dangle, and we are quite certain Mom Mary has figured out to look for you in that spot after so many years. XOCK Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
ReplyDeleteI am here to tell you, that has worked against me as well. TOO many times. xoxox
ReplyDeleteDurn, ya has been found out... hee hee....
ReplyDeleteYep - between that dangle AND the floof, you didn't stand a chance!
ReplyDeleteHugs, Sammy
Yep, those dangly bits... gets ya every time.
ReplyDeleteOne time the dangle was not a good thing. Busted.
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a good spot.
ReplyDeleteThere's always some wayward part of the body that has to give us away!
ReplyDeleteIf it was mes...the white hairs left on the black pants would gives mes away....
