Time Lord Tuesday
Kitties, Gather round! I have something to discuss with you. For about a week I have been ruminating, and stewing, and--yes--even brooding over this ridiculous notion of the Humans that they can manipulate time! Do they think they are Gods? Time Lords? Observers? Q?
Still, I had not quite decided how I, Spitty the Kitty, could manipulate this "Saved" time to my best advantage. Until today, when it came to me in a flash from . . . well, I don't know. The Tardis? The Enterprise? No matter.
I claim my Daylight-Savings Hour on my schedule, please, and I will have it from 2 a.m. to 3 a.m. this week. I expect bright sun, warm puddles and soft breezes.

ReplyDeleteOur mom would pay you for that extra hour, Spitty. She's been very crankified having to rise in the p.d. (pitch dark) when her eyes see the clock on the dresser but her internal clock knows it's really a stoopy hour earlier. Plus, her getting up in the dark always means peril for anyone not quick enough to dodge her giant feet plodding down the hallway.

ReplyDeleteI hate to say it, Spitty, but that will probably work as well as the human concept of Daylight Savings Time (which actually doesn't save anything).
