It is Caturday. The rain has let up. I am warm, well-fed & brushed. The Human is home.

    You've just elected to lower your expectations in the near term so that you can jolly the Human along with some public positive feedback. I can see your tactics here: she doesn't seem to respond to straightforward critical feedback, so now you're checking to see whether positive reinforcement of the little that she does get right from time to time might encourage her to try harder. Not a bad ploy - and it may work. I'll keep my (magic) fingers crossed for you.
