Christmas in May

Last December, the Swiss Cats sent me all sorts of Very Fine Presents, among them this Christmas Blanket, to which I have become irrationally* attached (*the Stoopy Human's term, not mine, I hasten to assure you).
A few weeks ago, she threatened to "put it away" to which I said, "Go ahead. I dare you."

Q.E.D.  Heh, heh.

  1. Where is this 'away' ? Is that where all our favourite things have gone....?

  2. Hmmm - not sure that Q.E.D. is apt in this context, Spitty. Have you double checked your Latin lately? I'm wondering whether you might have meant "Abusus non tollit usum" instead.

Whatever Latin might be relevant, it should go without saying that it is simply not appropriate for the Human to be attempting to deny you ready access to gifts that loyal subjects have given you. One might even be tempted to go as far as to suggest that she might start tidying away some of her own stuff before she even thinks about yours - and that task is likely to keep her busy until next Christmas, isn't it? Win/win!!

  7. The audacity. The stupidity. The rudeness. The total disregard for the kitty. Happy to see your blankie remains undisturbed...as it should be. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo and Cooper Murphy

Leave me a meow or a hiss; I don't mind a hiss or two. . . or even a bitey.
