Quarantine Quartet

Lincoln Way (upper left) is usually the second-busiest street on this side of the city, but not this morning; 4th Avenue (which runs along the side of our building) was likewise deserted, as was Golden Gate Park, save for a random dog-walker or jogger. The Human says the park was kind of nice that way. Me, I'm bored with this already. You?

  2. Everything is quiet here too, apart from the supermarkets which are still as manic as ever with people buying everything in sight with no thought for others.

  3. Driving to work has been wonderful for me. I work in healthcare in a building located near a major area of hi-tech companies, so of course, they've been able to get many of their staff working from home. That's meant very little traffic for me - yippeee.

As for being bored with it: I think we all need to pace ourselves Spitty. This is gonna last until Christmas and the humans need to remain vigilant.

  5. WOW - looks very QUIET there. We have traffic up and down our community street and can hear traffic on the major highways and activity is pretty much the way it always is. The difference here is a lot of things are closed but people are still "out and about". That may change the further into this "THING" we go. I'm handling it well though - I'm sleeping my day away as usual - my routine is unchanged. ZZZZZZZZZZZ

  9. Mom Paula hasn't been out since Monday since she is self-quarantined, but we can imagine it's weird seeing all the empty streets.

  10. Spitty we really hope this is not a tempest in a teacup. Yes the virus is bad but the cure is getting worse.

  12. Spitty...you better get used to this...it could go on for months. Take advantage of your mom being there and bug her constantly like we do with our humans. It can be fun. But whatever you do, please make certain your mom stays safe. MM sends kisses. Leave me a meow or a hiss; I don't mind a hiss or two. . . or even a bitey.
