Now This Is More Like It

I was freezing yesterday morning, and the Human really came through (for a change)

She dragged out this soft blankie and made a warm little nest for me, and I confess I dove right in. I cannot tell you how very warm and comfortabuls it was!

Okay, 56° may not have been really freezing, but my bones (and the Human's, of course) are getting older and more than a bit rickety, and warm blankies are worth their weight in gold.

  1. Ah ... Spitty: I think the Human knows that her performance review is coming up some time this month. In my opinion, her magic trick with the blanket today was designed to curry favour and was made in the hope that you don't have a good long-term memory to recall the many months of fourth-rate support and service that she has delivered!

  3. We've had some rather cool overnights; makes for excellent sleeping!
Yesterday, our neighbors had a party, which went late and was very noisy...glad I could close the windows!
Cannot begrudge them a party; this lockdown is tough on everyone.

  4. You do look warm and snuggly, and 56 degrees wrapped in a snuggly blanket sounds darn good to us. Misty May would like to join you if that would be okay. She’s blowing kisses. 8. Gosh Spitty you do look absolutely COMFY all snugged up in that blankie. Nice of your Mom to allow you to use it as your Royal Robe.

  9. Even for here 56 is lower than we get. We are usually around 60-65, except of course when that cold sea fog arrives. We are supposed to be getting a heatwave from tomorrow getting into the 80s. That is too hot!

  10. Spitty, you are living the good life and staying warm and cozy. That face just says it all that you are going to be hanging there for a while. Thanks for the wonderful share. Have a great rest of your day.

  12. We cats prefer to be warm, but not too warm. Goodness, you are posting so much more now. Has your human turned over a new leaf?

  13. Warms are warm. TBT dumped a small load of warm laundry on the bed and I (Laz), pushed right in. Furred up his black pants REAL GOOD as if they had never been launderated at ALL! Marley told me that was a good thing.

  14. You have your human trained so well, Spitty. It was cooler here the last couple of days but no special blankets for us.

Leave me a meow or a hiss; I don't mind a hiss or two. . . or even a bitey.
