Sunday Selfie: "I Should Have Named You Dusty"

. . . she says, just like it was nuffing insulting. Well, Kitties, I *am* insulted nonetheless.

I mean, if I *am* dusty, and I am neither confirming or denying any such thing, whose fault is that really?

Do *I* do (or more likely, not do) the housework here at Chez Spittola and the Human? I mean, do Kings vacuum?

Well, I am sure you get my drift: Not the Kitty's fault.

  1. Hmmm your persona does not say 'Dusty' to me Spitty. Our own Dusty would probably cast an eye at you and shake his head!

  2. It is most definitely a monarch's role to rule, and monitor the tasks rather than do them! You are definitely NOT dusty. Methinks it's just another case of global warming, MOL

  3. Kings certainly do not vacuum - not ever ever ever. Unfortunately, it sounds as though the same might be true of that wretched Human you've landed yourself with. Pack her off to re-education camp for a couple of weeks Spitty. That should do the trick.

  5. Spitty we have the same problem at our house and Toby is always complaining about the Dad adding a tad of dust to his pristine panfur self. Ahh the things we must bear eh my friend

  6. You're right, Spitty. That seems more a commentary on the housekeeping staff's less than stellar work, no? MOL!

  7. Again, another reason why Megan needs to travel from Australia to take over your care, Spitty!

  8. Dust? What is that? We have never seen any such thing. On account of everything being covered in a nice layer of furrs. When That Woman gets out the sucky thing we convene secret meetings UTB to plot her downfall and/or how to ensure a NEW layer of furrs is ejected immediately!. There are 5 of us so this happens daily. We do rather enjoy seeing TW sweating and grumbling and just when she finally sits down: the look on her face as we run bonkers theu house making redeposits at cat speed (which is way faster than light speed). Xoxo. Alla us

  9. It's tough to get good help these days......I mean it's enough that we keep them entertained, relatively busy, and occasionally give them a bit of a cuddle but cleaning definitely is NOT in our job description!

  11. You are right Spitty, a King should never be expected to do housework. That is why you keep a human.

  12. Not dust Spitty...Just blessed with that light coating of star shine. And your glorious black coat shows it off so well. We can always tell when Sage and now Pip have been in the litter box because their black paws often show the results. :) It's all part of the pleasure of living with a black kitty. How could we all have been so lucky!
