Cat Appreciation Day?

Wait--What? Did I miss something? I know I felt a tremor in the Force and yet...and yet...there was no acknowledgement from the Human of any such occasion.

Just in case, I am sharpening my claws and flattening my ears. I want to be ready to RETALIATE  if I find the Human failed (as per usual) to buy me a gift or cook a special meal.

Did other kitties get "appreciated"?

P.S. Check out yesterday's post @ the Florida Furkids & Angel Sniffie.  Because, you know, I think the rest of us kinda got gypped!

  1. We're not sure, Spitty. It's entirely possible that our human has dropped the ball of yarn as well, because we have heard naught.

  2. Nah, no appreciation day celebrated here either. It's not good enough, is it?

  3. Oh no, your human is in REAL trouble because Cat Appreciate Day should be celebrated every day!

  7. No extra appreciation here.
In fact every time we begged....asked politely.. for another can of food it was flatly rejected.

  9. Spitty, our Mom did nothing either. We all need to go on one big strike. No more cuddles or lap time if you do that, no more rubs or head bumps. This is just a crime. Those beans need to pay attention especially for cat appreciation day.

  10. We dint know about Kitty Appreciation Day, but boy are we appreciated here!

In the morning, we get scritches and held while TBT tries ta sleep. In the daytime, we get tossed toys all around. In the night we all get turns at laptime. An high-falutin food in between. The litterboxes are clean. Thats APPRECIATED!

  23. Yeah, I didn't get jack chit in appreciation either :/

  24. We want to thank you so, so much for coming by and saying such nice things on our blog. Jack's passing has been difficult, but with everyone's support, we are doing better every day. Baby definitely misses her companion of 15 years, but with special attention, she is pulling out of her grief. And, yes, I think Jack is sending her is love from across the Rainbow Bridge.

Leave me a meow or a hiss; I don't mind a hiss or two. . . or even a bitey.
