You know, Kitties, King Spitty is a creature of habit. So when the other day the Human saw me perched atop a bookcase I have never been known to frequent, she whipped out the Flashy Box in the blink of an eye.
Of course, being King, I may Occupy any surface I please, and, rather suddenly, it pleases me to Occupy these bookshelves.
They aren't very tidy, are they?
Following the sun, are you? That happens a lot at our home, too.

How could she be surprised to see you up there since there's a very nice little sun puddle up there. Just for the record, I don't like beef and Pop was getting into bed where he didn't think he had to wear shoes, but he may have to rethink that. HAH!
ReplyDeleteThe top of the bookcase is very much improved by your presence... your majesty. But yes, the shelves could do with a tidy. Perhaps after your peeps have done so, they might come to our house and tidy the shelves of my peep. Our shelves are in a worse state than yours, I'm afraid.

Hello King Spitty, we thinks that makes a nice royal perch. Not sure why your Mom felt the need to take a picture, but ours does the same thing. Most annoying when you are trying to snooze.

ReplyDeleteOh KIng Spitty...you look so regal there percehed on the Royal Bookcase. Now me..I go INTO the book case and try testing the tasty bindings and papers. um.....but mom always complains. I am tired of the complaints. I think I hear water filling a spray bottle..hark? Yes! I did!

Star was in the sun puddles this weekend too, she likes to think that you were sharing the same sun warmth, purr..
Mom would be right at home with your bookshelves. She is uncomfortable in homes that have no books, and some don't. A well stocked bookshelf is a well loved home. And a cat on top is the finishing touch!
