I'm Worried

I have been feeling a bit uneasy about Bob Dylan's borderline antisocial behavior when he received his Presidential Medal of Freedom Tuesday. You don't think the President will get all offended and take it away from him, do you? I would feel real bad, because the Human practically worships Bob and she considers the day she saw him in concert one of the highlights of her (admittedly pretty dull) life.
Sometimes I think about strange things, huh?

  1. Gloman said Bob looked like a walking corpse. Not very nice. He did scare me just a little bit. heh heh

Spitty, no matter what you think about or say you're not strange. You're King Spitty!!!

  3. TBT here: I love Bob, too. And I don't think the Presidential medal is the most important concern in his life.

I can't say a favorite song, but anything around "Tangled Up In Blue" is great.

  4. But hasn't Bob Dylan always been a little strange? Isn't that part of his charm? That's what my human says.

  5. My mom saw him in concert too...

Spitty, you just keep on thinking about whatever you want to think about. We think he'll be able to keep his awardie even if he is odd. We agree with Sparkle's mom.

  6. Rats Spitty! I didn't see that. I did see Pat Summitt getting her medal as she is our Coach of the Tennessee Lady Vols. I wish the news had carried Bob's part.

  7. Hey, I didn't know that about Bob Dylan - maybe one of his songs needs to be this Friday's song!

  12. Dylan is past his prime and probably didn't even deserve that award. My peeps always loved his songs more than him although we DO have a bunch of his albums. We didn't see the show but I'm sure our Dylan nut friend will send the link to TW. She still goes through the house singing Mr. Tambourine Man and still knows every single word. Very scary.

  13. It's important that we cats think about the serious stuff in life, I think. Someone has gotta do it. And we're so well equipped... what with bein' so smart and all. purrs

  14. I didn't see Dylan in action, only pictures, so I don't know what will happen! All I know is he's way older than my mom, and my mom is pretty weird, so...

She does like to imitate him when she sings along "Oh, Mama, could this really be the end?" and THAT is pretty scary. Thank Cod she only downloaded that in the last year or so, else I would have run away.

  15. He was front page with a big picture of the President putting the medal on him today in the Minneapolis Star Tribune. Go online & see!
As a Minnesota native, he is a state treasure and practically worshiped here. No, he IS worshiped here!

So you are just a tiny boy, eh Spitty? Can't really tell from your photos!

  19. No worries Spitty.
    That medal is Bob's now.
Once his name is engraved on it, it's his.

    --grin--
We thought Bob's reaction was very amusing!!

  20. Spitty, there's way more important stuff to worry about. For instance: dinner.

  21. Don't worry, Spitty. I don't think president will take away Bob Dylan's medal from him.
Seems you have many thoughts, Spitty :-)

  22. We wouldn't worry about Bob, Spitty. We'd be more worried about stuff like food and treats and when we will get some of both.

  24. Huh? Something happened? We're still UTB from all those big noise thingies at your place the other night. Well, at least your mom can think of one highlight in her life, which is one more than our mom can think of.

  26. Dear Spitty,
Me thinks that Bob Dylan did way too much "stuff" in decades past and he is a six pack missing the plastic thingy that holds them together.
My human loves his music too but she never did get to see him in concert.
    Kisses
    Nellie
