Not-A-Garden-Tour #14

Well, the Human has had these pictures since the Introodur visited two months ago. But finally, here they are for our Not-A-Garden-Tour! (That's the Introodur way down there on the left, more's the pity she didn't leave him there.)
So when we went to the airport to see those motorbikes, we came across this art installation in the International Terminal. Looky how big it is!

The Human took some closer-up pictures of the small paintings that make it up:

We loved this and are thinking about going back out to the airport just so we can look at more of these little squares. My only real complaint is that there were hardly any kitties. There were a lot of other interesting things though, I have to admit.

The sign below says there are 5,265 of them and the artist used to paint them on the subway!
All we can say is: Wow.

  4. Wow, that is really something. How great that he saved all his hard work. That is just amazing. It would take a long time just to look at all of them. Have a great day.

  8. That is unusual and a lot of work! I wonder how they came to be installed on the airport wall? Can you imagine saving all of those!

  9. Spitty, the only thing I noticed is that tennis ball on the floor. Or is it an orange. Either way, I would've taken it. As for the art, I thought it was the work of the 2nd grade class. HAH!

  15. Airport artwork intrigues my Mom as so many of them are very plain so those rare ones are cool to view through seeing them means a trip away from us so these views from afar is much better.

  16. But, but - where is the token shot of Spitty. This means we have to go at least 24 hours with a Spitty fix - unacceptable!

We've been catching up on your posts, Star says not enough Spitty, but then, she's a little biased...

  21. Think of all the time it took! We think it would be really cool if you could open those little squares and there would be pix of what was on the outside square, like a picture book. We'd be interested in seeing the "Vulgar Ties".

Leave me a meow or a hiss; I don't mind a hiss or two. . . or even a bitey.
