Neighborhood Watch Cat Has Something to Watch!

Oh My Cod, Kitties! Look at our very own driveway at about 5:30 p.m. Thursday afternoon!
Look at the blue corner house a little ways down the block! The fire is mostly out in this picture.
We really, really lubz our firefighters!
They are furry furry brave!

The Human taked a little video, though Cod only knows what she was trying to get at the end! (She was a little tiny bit freeked out I think.)

Note: Nobuddy, 2-legged or 4-legged, gotted hurt in this fire, Fank Ceiling Cat!!!

  1. Holy Smokin' Puddy Tatt's Spitty! Youze got front row seats! I know what your mum was REALLY lookin for, some half naked sweaty sexie fireman that's what! Well, you never know...

Hope everyone was alright in that home. Fire is nasty business!

  3. Its scary when something happens close to home! We would have been UTB.

Thank you so much for your very kind condolences on the loss of my mother. Its is painful to think I'll never see or hear from her again and it wasn't until I was faced with losing her that I realized what a blow it would be. The compassion and support of friends help to make it easier to bear. Thank you.

  4. Wow. You are a most excellent neighbourhood watch cat - as of course a vigilant king must be, looking out for his subjects all the time. Was it hard to call 911 or is the phone suitable for your paws ? Thank goodness no one got hurt. Except maybe the wobbly video-taker (what was she doing?!).
With right royal greetings to you from a very sunny and hot Finland (North).

  6. Thank goodness no one was hurt in the fire! We had a fire engine rumble past our house a few weeks ago, so OF COURSE we sent Mommy out to look. Turns out to be some electrical trouble that caused it to smoke. Thankfully there was no fire.

  9. Oh SPITTY! Thank goodness for YOU. I hope the Neighborhood Watch ships over your favotite treats for seeing this and reporting it to your mom and everyone else. Were you the one who dialed 911?

See you in the afternoon...the tunnel is pointed your way. xox

  12. OMC, how exciting!

OK, maybe a little too exciting. (Kinda like the day the cops, the sheriff's office, SWAT, the FBI and then Homeland Security showed up in a several armored vehicles across the street for one kid who'd robbed a 7-11 or something. [I guess they'd already filled their terrorist quota that day.] My mom should dig those photos out and let me post them--after all, she frequently complains of slow days.)

Anyway, do *you* know how to dial 911, you know, just in case?

  17. Wow! Sir Spitfire, you handled the situation very well. Your human probably was shaken up a bit; such is the nature of humans. However, the brave fireman did a good job, it appears and your report was very thorough. Thank you. PT, PM and Ringo.

  22. Whoa! Acid trip video! Head rush! Such excitement and so close. We always have something going on here. You want excitement, this is the place to be. Unfortunately, all the big buildings block my view. The peeps say that when they lived in the old house, the corner house burned right to the ground in the middle of the night. She was terrified, especially when the facade came crashing down still on fire into the street.

  23. Spitty, you HAVE to learn to control your lasers! What's next? Incinerating your pink beddie?

  24. Wow...glad the houses didn't burn down. Was your person drinking before she took the video? Just curious ;)

Thank Cod no one was hurt!

Star: Why don't you come over tonight and we'll snuggle in my open window and see if the sirens come this time too?

  30. It is pleasing to note that the SF Fire Department has really long ladders, for getting kitties out of trees.
