Dillon

On Sunday the Human went to a birthday party near Santa Cruz, where she met Dillon, her dear friend's foster kitten.
Dear Friend lives in Oregon and Dillon is her fourth foster--she's had him since he was barely three weeks. Next week the poor, unsuspecting little guy will get tutored ::shudder:: and then he'll be ready to be 'dopted.
The Human's friend swears she is not keeping him herself, but the Human swears she sees the Mad Glint of Kitten Lust in Friend's eyes...so who knows, really?
Dear Friend and her husband have had as many as seven kitties at once, but they are currently down to only one, and Nigel is getting to be an older ManCat (he might be about 17 now?), so the Human thinks  (and, in a rare, universe-shattering moment of agreement, I do too) that maybe  the time is ripe for a new addition. Plus, then she'd get to see this little guy some more. He's unbelievably fun and frolicsome!
NB: That pillow is actually embroidered with fern leaves, but I think Dillon imagines they are previously-consumed fishies, MOL! After all, the Pacific is only a mile or two away as the crow flies kitten pounces!

  4. Oh, Dillon is super cute, I think. It would be wonderful if he could live forever with your mom's friend. He's been there since he was so little. It's practically his home already. There are twelve of us here at my house so... two? Two is easy! purrs

  6. Dillon is very cute. Mirsku could eat him in one gulp (but he wouldn't). We do so hope that Dear Friend keeps him. And when he is young, tutoring is much easier. He won't make such a fuss about it as your most royal self.
We thank you for your greetings and sympathies here. We do indeed have a mighty task keeping Äiti in check, but we will do it somehow.

  9. Goodness, Dillon is sooooo cute. We definitely think that he should stay right where he is. Our silly Mom has a terrible time fostering cats, they always seem to stay. We are all wearing signs, saying NO MORE CATS. Take care.

  20. Dillon is a cutie! It is very nice of Dear Friend to foster kitties to help them prepare for their forever homes. Dillon looks like he has definitely mastered the skill of staring humans into submission.

Leave me a meow or a hiss; I don't mind a hiss or two. . . or even a bitey.
