Well, Kitties, can't be Wordless today! I may look a bit indifferent, but inside I am PUMPED that the Giants are in the series.
Cody's Detroit Tigers are worthy opponents, who swept those Yanks in four straight--and have been chillin' at home since the 18th, resting their sore muscles and pitching arms, while the Giants battled through six elimination games, finally closing it out in the freezing rain Monday night.
So I say: Bring it on, Tigers! And may the Best Team (The Giants, of course) win!
And oh yes, a small wager may have been placed. More about that as the Series progresses!
We luv a good competishun. Hee-hee.
ReplyDeleteMommy was busy switchin' betwixt Da Bears and the GIANTS Monday night...she said the third inning was INCREDIBLE!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteMeh. We don't care about sports around here. Unless the sport happens to be lizard catching, which my human in her utter ignorance claims is NOT a sport at all!
ReplyDeleteOh, come on! Freezing rain?
ReplyDeleteThe did get some heavy rain for a little while, but freezing?
I'm rooting for the Giants (under some duress, I might add), but the lady will be cheering for the felines. Care to wager any Fancy Feast?
MOL, Spitty, our interest in sports is so low it regesters as a negative... but I hope your giant guys win, just because it's you!
ReplyDeleteStar says: Spitty dear, I'm glad I made you feel better! You're not even ten pounds? For such a manly cat, you're still lighter than Leo the barbarian too then! I myself am a slender six and a half pounds or so. I think we're quite suited size wise then my darling.
ReplyDeleteWhat is this thing of which you speak ? You seem to have slipped into a strange and weird language of which I understand nothing.
ReplyDeletePlay ball ? I thought there were no balls ?
Wez don't have thatz all over here, Wez nose youz all get so excited :) Luvin the hat Spitty xx00xx
ReplyDeleteMollie and Alfie
Hopefully it'll be a tie!
ReplyDeleteWe love that Rumbles solution. A tie would be nice. This will be a great World Series. We are not sure who we are routing for. Can we rout for the Braves. LOL. Take care.
ReplyDeleteSpitty I can't even talk a lot of smack to ya cause I like you TOO MUCH! I have enormous respect for the Giants and how they have been playing..but...remember...the Tigers are FELINES!! We have our ways of getting what we want! About that car? Should have sent you mom's 2001 Honda Civic that she traded in last week...only had 26,000 MI! Good luck my FURIEND!!
ReplyDeleteLove my photo!
Now mom will admit freely that baseball leaves her in the "meh" condition as she is a football and sometimes basketball fan only and only on the collegiate level. But whichever team YOU love is the one I'm rooting for. xxoo
ReplyDeleteI duzn't know much abowt teh baseball but Iz pawsitive your team will win cuz you looks so handsome in that cap!
ReplyDeleteI hope the Giants win too. But anyone that can get rid of those friggin Yankees is fine in my book.
ReplyDeleteSpitty, As a royal, can't you just command the Giants to win? Maybe if you promise them a visit to your royal palace?
ReplyDeleteSorry, Spitty...we're with Cody. Our Tigers are gonna chew those Giants up! GO TIGERS!!!
ReplyDeleteSpitty, our comments keep disappearing! Check your spam folder (though we know we're NOT spam!)!
ReplyDeleteAnd check out our post today. :)
Sorry, Spitty, but when my mom gets to be king, she'll be banning baseball.
ReplyDeleteI'm not one for the wearin' of hats myself but... that one of yours looks like a PURRFECT fit! purrs

Hehe I just came from Cody's blog where I said 'go Tigers' but now that I'm here I think you've swayed me to say 'go Giants!'
ReplyDeleteEven though I wouldn't have a clue who either of those teams are ;)
This will be a fun play-off!
ReplyDeleteSo if I (American League roots and all) root for your Giants, they'll be something in this for me?? Detroit's had 2 weeks off, counting the time they rested while playing the Yankees who were in vacation by the time that series started so they'll be well-rested but that isn't a good thing in baseball.
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking you and your human luvd last nights outcome!!
