Yes! These fev-vers are fun-fun-fun! The Human finally spent some quality time with me on Caturday, and I discovered that Savannah and CK have *NOT* been lying about the Joys of the Peacock.
But wait: Are there whole flocks of fevver-less Peacocks? Will Angry Birds stampede, screeching, to my doorstep in search of my fevver stash?
No Spitty, says the Human, they're b-i-r-d-s. They m-o-l-t.
Oh. Still, there was really no need to take that tone with me.
big sigh,
ReplyDeleteMe remembers when we used to has peacock feathers. My Mommy's sister's old husband used to work at a zoo and he brought them home. Alas, since they split up, no more. Me had forgots about them!
Kisses
Nellie
PS Yous looks purrticularly handsome chasing them!
Good thing the fev-vers don't bring Angry Birds...we've seen what they can do!
ReplyDeleteThe Florida Furkids
Really! Like we should KNOW that fevvers just fall right off of birds. That would be like OUR whiskers falling,, um out... and... Oh dear. "Never mind"...
ReplyDeleteOh Spitty, I see you're the boss around the house huh?
ReplyDeleteCotton
FINALLY you got some quality time! Those darn humans... ;)
ReplyDeletexo
Time to work off that everso gently rounding tum-tum, Spitty!!
ReplyDeleteDid you know that Angry Birds comes from Finland, King Spitty ?
ReplyDeleteAnd does Mr Peacock really lose 12 feathers all at once ? We have heard Mr Peacock uses his feathers to impress Mrs Peacock and that his bright feathers are a sign of his virility.
Lucky we have no peacocks here in Finland or methinks Mr Tailless Peacock would be strutting over to you to give you a good beaking. In the meantime, those feathers do lool most excellent to destroy, and well done on getting some quality time with your human. Has she spoken to you more about plans for getting you a buddy ?
Spitty! Look at you! All playful and adorable! I see tummy and toesies! Be still my heart!
ReplyDeleteI still think peacocks can't be trusted, molt or no.
ReplyDeleteAhem. We think your Human needs to ramp up your playtime. We can't help but notice a little, uh, tummy? Heck. Even your tail seem to have "prospered"! MOL.
ReplyDeleteYou make those fevvers look so fun! We are demanding that the Mommy get a peacock so we can have the molt fevvers. MOL MOL MOL!!!
ReplyDeleteSpitty, there is no other word for it but Stately. You look Stately as well you should, given your Titles both here and abroad! Stately and Regal and Handsome and Warm and Soft, and Velvety and...um...well, mancatly. But Stately, NOT 'rounded'.
ReplyDeleteWhy duz I nawt haz theze fevvers? I iz royalty too but I iz obvyussly treeted horrubly - I shall demand chanjis at wunce starting with fevvers! Thanks you dear Spitty
ReplyDeleteThose fevvers are really something!
ReplyDeleteThose thing shake and twirl, that throws me for a whirl. I chase them down and kill them good. Peacocks honk way too much to be near my hood.
ReplyDeleteSpitty, you are certainly getting more energetic since you've been tutored!!
ReplyDeleteI reckon we are all interested in whirled peas and hominy!! hehehe ;)
There'z gonna be more feffer-lezz peacock'z coz I'm gonna have to track one down, coz I want'z one of those :) xxx00xx
ReplyDeleteMollie and Alfie
Looks like fun!
ReplyDeleteI think, I'm gonna add this to my list to Santa Paws.
ReplyDeleteI laugh at the idea of featherless peacocks running around naked because we kitties are having fun with their feathers ;-)
Purrs
Mommie bought us some peacock feathers last month. Sassy does not like them at all. She won't admit it, but I think she is scare of them!
ReplyDeleteScooter was finally allowed a fevver on a stick and she just loves it. Happy you are having so much fun over there!
ReplyDeleteThose feathers are very ticklish, aren't they? And, so big. It's like when you see some tiny kid at a carnival or county fair, walking around with one of those huge turkey legs.
ReplyDeleteMmmm. Turkey.
Those peacock fevvers look great! Do they smell exotic too?
ReplyDeleteIt never hurts to be prepared, Spitty. You were right to voice your concerns. purrs
ReplyDeleteFevvers are really fun, although ours are limited to the fevver duster that you buy in the store. We like that better, but we're game to try other fevvers.
ReplyDeleteEmma and Buster
Don't listen to your human. We had peacocks at one time. They will stampede and rest assured no kittie would be safe!

That Woman
Ms. Stella is out just now looking for lizards. She'll write soon
So there's a bunch of nekkid peacocks running around out there?? We wanna see that!
ReplyDeleteI got some for Christmas last year and it's one of my favorite things to do.
ReplyDeleteOh fev-vers are fun!
ReplyDeleteDon't worry, Spitty...no angry peacocks are coming to get your fevver or attack you :-)
If that's true, then why isn't there a FEATHER IN EVERY POT...er, I mean CAT?
ReplyDeleteYou are having fun! And you look at svelte as ever.Love those feathers. Have gone through tons of them. I must come over and help you play with them. xoxo
ReplyDeleteLooks like you are having so much fun there Spitty.
ReplyDeleteYEA SPITTY AND HUMAN!!! FEV-VER PLAY TIME! And Spitty, you look mancatly...just saying...so happy you like them...I just can't get enuff...and don't care if there is a herd of fev-ver-less peacocks out there...as long as I have mine, mine, mine...ooohhhhh....did I really say that????
