Uh-Oh

Kitties, a shiny black box arrived just for me the other day! The Human brought it home and we inspected the exotic postmark: Suomi (Finland), it read.
Now, for weeks and weeks my Fellow Royal, Punapippuri, has been threatening to box up a kitten and send him along so I can share the, uh, joy he feels at the imminent arrival of Sampo. He tells me this creature's name is Stampo, and he means me no harm.
But I dunno. I have concerns. He's very stealthy and I find it wearing to keep track of him.
For the past few days, I have the uneasy certainty I am being watched.
The Human says I should chill out, but I say the price of serenity is eternal vigilance!

Stay tuned: Stampo was not the only SURPRISE in that box!

  2. Dood...HE'S RIGHT ABOVE YOU! Either run, or pull him offa there. Whichever seems to be the most sensible thing to do...

  6. We can't wait to see what the surprise is. MMM is willing to put her life on the line and come over to hiss at Stampo if you'd like. We hope you had a great Easter, which involved no harm to any bunny.

  8. A spy! There's a spy in your midst! Better watch out!
Vigilance is a good idea, and uh, so is 'heads up'!

  10. Greetings King Spitty and young Stampo. I must say, Stampo is looking a bit boggle-eyed after the journey, but we see he has positioned himself very cheekily in your hierarchy. This does not bode well and wethinks he needs to learn from your royal paw of command. We find kittens respond to a little swipe now and again.

  11. Spitty, I am aghast at the turn of events. That Stampo (Sparkle's comment had mom rolling...dunno why) had better not get in the tunnel and show up here. You know I am very much a warrior Queen and I will box his ears, swipe at his eyes and lay a supreme bitey on him! So guard your tunnel so he does not surprise any of your, um, paramours.

That said you had better meow your intentions when YOU come thru to here. I am ever vigilant. Want me to come over there and give him what-for?

  17. Stampo looks pretty scary. It might be time, Spitty, to grow some eyes in the back of your head. You may no longer have the upper paw. Purrs and hugs from the kitties at The Cat on My Head, Lily Olivia, Misty May, Muaricio, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Josette

  28. i has to say, i don't trust him either. sumfing about teh unblinky eyes. you know, of course, that direct eye contact is quite rude in most cat societies so I say you can feel free to take down the rude little runt any time you want. no justification needed. do you need me to stop by and claw his floppy butt? cuz i'd do that for you, inna heartbeat.

  29. Careful Spitty until you know his intentions Stampo should be at paw length. You could have a potential doppleganger on your hands.
