A Good Picture, Spoiled

Heh, heh.  You may wonder why the Human was so eager to post this rather pedestrian, poorly lit, boring picture, with the table full of messy papers and the chair covering all askew (that chair covering is another sore point, by the way, but that's a story for another time). So here's the picture:
The reason it is blog-worthy (in her opinion, not mine) is that in all the many years I have been in captivity here lived here, she has never seen me sit on this little table. But guess what? While she hightailed it to get the Flashy Box, I moved! Ha ha ha ha ha!

  1. You haven't seen a messy table until you've seen Mom Paula's desk!

  7. Oh, THAT table. For one scary moment, I thought you meant the one with the candles. Do they really think we're gonna hold a pose when we don't get paid like models? I don't think so.

  8. Naturally! If you had done what your mom wanted, you would be a dog, not a cat. And that would probably be very boring.

  10. Spitty- is that your definition of messy ? Chaotic ? DIsordered ? Just as well you don't live here! Chair covers often do not cover the hairs even but may be within a few metres of them!

  11. Spitty, you need to move quicker - you only ruined her shot by 50%!

  15. Hee hee hee, good move Spitty! Ya know, my old black kitty, Calvin, used to sit on the table like that so he could stick his head under the lamp shade and get warmed by the bulb. He'd have the toastiest head!

Star says: Spitty dear, I'm glad you liked my picture yesterday. And I'm pleased to tell you that I am the star of today's post too. Mom's finally getting it right around here! You're lucky you don't have anyone to compete with.. Can I visit and get away from the barbarian for a while? I'll clean your little ears! Purrrr

  21. Of course, she has no idea that you sit on it constantly when she's not there. Right? We sure would, with that nice lamp to warm our furs. Good boy for moving before she could get the camera!
