Does She or Doesn't She?

deserve a "Mother's Day" gift, that is?
And if she does, what should it be?
I have the cards ready to swipe, but I'm torn.
A new tray for my food bowls? a Drinkwell fountain? a larger-but-still-cozy
bed for me? a whole peacock's worth of fev-vers for playtime?

Oh wait. . . the present should be for her, you say?
Well, how about an iron? or a new alarm clock?
Those should make her happy, don't you think?

  1. Well, Spitty, we think you should buy her something that she will like...but make sure you do a little shopping for yourself too.

  3. Nicky used to always give the peeps a present that HE'D enjoy cos then they'd get the gift of playing with him. If you're getting peacock feathers, get some for me. MOL! Actually she's prolly have more fun with a cat toy than an iron.

  12. An iron is unnecessary as you can flatten the laundry by sleeping on it; an alarm clock - surely you do that job anyway, So she has everything she could need - best buy one of your original suggestions then.

  13. We think a tray, fountain, bed, or fev-vers all would be an excellent choices, because she would get to enjoy them too. We are a little concerned that Mr. A. Sample might have a little problem with you charging it on HIS credit card.

  14. I love all of your choices because I get to enjoy them as well. BUT: It IS Mother's Day after all..so while she will enjoy all of the things you have thought of (while you share them), how about a Purr Pad just for her. Oh, it may be smallish for her to sleep on but you could keep it warm for her until she finds a way to fold herself up sufficiently to enjoy your magnificent gift.

Let's ccelebrate the day with Half and Half! I'll bring the best cups. <3

  25. Spitty, I think the best mother's day gift you could give your mommy would be to curl up on her lap and purr for once! Bet that would make her happy. No scratches or bities, just loves! Then maybe she'll be so happy she'll get a whole peacock's worth of feathers! MOL

Star says: Happy mother's day to your mom! If you do as my mom suggests, and need a snuggle and some head licks to recover, just whistle and I'll be over!

Leave me a meow or a hiss; I don't mind a hiss or two. . . or even a bitey.
