Mad ManCat Monday

Kitties, wouldn't you think what with all the shenanigans of the past week that the Human would be paying me a good deal more attention, rather than gallivanting off to wedding showers and movies? Seriously?
Surely you can see how angry I am in my picture today, refusing to look at her and staring stonily into the distance? Yes, I know I appear comfortable in my soft beddy, and my furs are all floofed after a gentle brushing, and I am well-fed and sleepy . . . but still! Fury seethes in my savage breast . . . Oh, all right then . . . Fuggedaboudit.

  1. Savage - indeed there is no other word for it. We see the savageryness oozing out of you, King Spitty of the Unforgiving Flinty Heart. The contrast with the soft beddy and floofy furs just enhances it.

  4. I LIKE it when my human is out of the house - I don't get human-handled and there is no paparazzi invading my space!

  6. Spitty! I had no idea that YOUR mom was as neglectful as MY mom! Mne went to a wedding AND to a movie on the same day which left ME unattended and unplayed with till 9pm and then, she dared go to bed at 10!!!

  11. Well, just because you feel comfortable doesn't mean the human did **everything** right!

  14. I have found, in my ten years on this earth, that peeps are slow learners. At least, my peeps are. I think your peep should pay much more attention to you after your week of mayhem even if only to try to curtail the possibility of any more mayhem.

  16. You are very lucky! I have been pet sitting since Friday afternoon. Half-hour drives and overnight stays because of a DOG! The owner is to arrive home this afternoon. My cats chose to ignore me when I came in the door late this morning. I knew you'd be proud of them :)

  17. Your body might be all nice and happy and comfy, but those eyes! Those eyes could sear right though your Human's back!

  21. Hey Spitty, our humans are still away, and we got some big plans for their homecoming. If you are up for some more mischief, stop by on Wednesday. Purrs and hugs from the kitties at The Cat on My Head, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Josette

  24. Spitty, you do 'disdain' very well! Yow, I hope your human steps up and rectifies all the injustices she has born on you today!

Star says: I have loved sharing my comfy spots with you, can I share yours now? That bed looks wonderful.. purrrrr
You know, your human is the teacher not the student, right? I don't see why her silly ol' students can't wait longer for results so that she can give you the attention you so very much deserve!

  25. ok, Spitimus, it's time to take all that Ferocious Fury and Ragin' Rage and ball it up, nice and tight, and stuff like a Fur Ball into your verra Heart o' Hearts, where it can fester and ooze and get all nasty and THEN! you can strike, You Ferocious Beastie, you - When. She. Least. Expects. It.
oh, how I love teh ebils....
btw, I caught a lovely little birdie for you today. Mrs. W. smacked my rear end and made me drop it and it flew away. Can you believe it? I'm working on a very big ball of Fury, just for her, right now.

Leave me a meow or a hiss; I don't mind a hiss or two. . . or even a bitey.
