The Human Went to the Giant Sandbox . . .

and all I got was this stupid picture.

P.S. I don't think those Humans understand what the sand is for, do you?

P.P.S.: Thanks, Ceiling Cat! I owes you one. As of 7:28 p.m.,
                        it is 59 fantastic degrees!

  1. That's a lot of sand, but it's also a lot of WATER. We think they might cancel each other out and make napping at home an OK option.

  2. Whoa! How could they be standing and playing in their litter box! She could've brought you home a fishie or something.

  3. Sand is no fun for kitties to play in. It's too fine and sticky. I know because I've gotten some in my fur from the back yard where mom & dad didn't sweep up all the sand from one of their projects. But she could have gotten you some fresh sea food.

  6. But if it made her happy, doesn't that make YOU happy?

  7. No they don't, but if I could pee in patterns like that I'd be very happy!

  9. Do you think your human left poo there?

Looks like they like to scratch around in the sand, too.

  11. What?! Humans are weird. No wonder there are so many old cats waving their tails around about them.

  12. Those humans sure are decorative in covering up their poo...

  13. I don't know, those humans seem to be making designs in the sand, just like cats do!

Star says: You're feeling friskier and want to know if I want to come over?? Hello! I'm there! Zooming to the teleporter!!

  19. Spitty, concats on the cooler weather. We finally got some too as well as a day of rain. Fall may have been saved. We'll have to wait and see what the leaves do. The sand art is exquisite, but the people who made it probably don't have cats and so didn't know any better. Still waiting to see you over at Cat Scouts. 20. Hi Spitty......glad you got some cooler weather (we did too) and the answer to the Giant Sandbox question is NO I DO NOT THINK HUMANS GET IT ABOUT SAND.....we cats know what it's for and that's that!

  29. Our human has been going to the giant sandbox all her life and never has learned how to use it properly either. Some just NEVER learn!

  30. What a wonderful idea! We have lots of sand around here. I have one small piece of advice, though, for this blog post. You might want to put something like: "CATS. Do not try this at home!"

Leave me a meow or a hiss; I don't mind a hiss or two. . . or even a bitey.
