A Wise Cat

knows when it's best to stay out of a Human's way. After a slothful morning
she suddenly seemed to realize that the house was not going to clean itself
nor was the dirty laundry going to rustle up quarters and stroll
across the street to the laundromat.
In times such as these, the Wise Kitty knows a good long nap on his Kitty Tower
is the best way to stay out of trouble, and that's exactly what I did today.

P.S. Anyone able to help this kitty find a home?

  1. Smart kitty, but jumping in the laundry pile can be fun

  2. Ain’t that the truth BUT if it were me, I’d stand in front of the human so she couldn’t move cos I hate being ignored like I have all week. BTW, what did you think of the fish tacos? Hope they weren’t too spicy.

  3. Smart move, Spitty! There are times to assist, and there are times to get out of the way so you don't get stepped on.

  4. Assuredly. You would not want to end up on the wrong side of fluff and fold.

  5. Smart and maybe a little bit sleepy, eh Spitster?

  6. Best wait until the laundry is done and clean and folded beautifully, and then sleep on it.

  8. I asked Mr. Black to post the link to the kitty who needs rehoming on my Facebook page so I can pass it around. My Facebook page (and my human's profile) reach lots of eyeballs.

  11. I am SO grateful that Sparkle saw this. I too give the human some benefit of doubt as Sadie wouldn't be the way she is with an uncaring owner. Kitties especially usually become loving and dear the way Sadie is when they know they are loved by their humans.

Spitty, mom said she couldn't get a piece of paper in-between that tightly balled little precious body.

  12. Spitty-the-Kitty, so very wise. I made the mistake of saying out loud that the kitties cannot open their Secret Santa gift until the furz are removed from the living room floor. Now they won't leave me alone. (But the vacuum cleaner will take care of that!)

  13. Oh Spitty, you couldn't possibly leave your Mom. What would she without you to pick on. But a nice long nap does sound like the right idea. Take care.

  15. Oh poor Spitty. My mom had this crazy idea too. I was in trouble, because I have no tower. Hope Santa can bring me one as a real last minute gift :o)

  16. Yep - that's what I'd be doing if I were in your place....on TOP level of tower staying out of the way!

I hope that kitty finds a forever home in time for Christmas....that would be so cool.

  20. That is a good plan for the day, oh wise one. We went to the other blog, and we met Sadie. Mom has family in Portola Valley with one cat and one dog. She is going to see if they might be able to rescue her. We are having a very rainy day here. Mom is trying to wrap presents and finish putting ornaments on the trees. Hope she finishes by Valentine's Day. MEOWY CATMESS! MOL, HO, HO, HO! Purrs and hugs, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo

Leave me a meow or a hiss; I don't mind a hiss or two. . . or even a bitey.
